damn it ! i was hoping to lose some weight once school started because i wouldnt be sitting on my lazy a*s on the couch all day LOL
I know I will lose some weight since Ramadan started on Saturday, so no eating between 5:20am and 8:10pm... which is a good thing because I tend to snack too much while studying...
Hey guys! Haven't been around all week cause of orientation (my class is AWESOME btw 🙂), but I'm going to try and catch up now.

First day of classes tomorrow! Woot! :woot:

happy birthday guys!!!

Soo many free lunches... too much bad pizza. Some get Panera which is good.

I have two free lunches this week that I am looking forward to.

the only thing worse than a foreign lecturer is a soft spoken foreign lecturer.

Some are super awesome though. Our biochem lecturer today was a german dude who could totally pass for a mad scientist.
free food is the best part of med school.

+1 👍
I'm aspiring to make 25% percent of my tutiton back in free food and beverages.

Go to every club meeting and social event and it might be possible

I just got back from 2 hours of playing volleyball at the gym. Gonna hit the books after a shower and some food...🙂

hi guys! i just got back from the outdoor adventure course.we did a bunch of rope climbing, ladder climbing, zipline, flying squirrel type stuff.. i feel like i am going to be sooo sore tomorrow. but my classmates are awesome! nyu really did a great job picking the class.

Do you guys have any tips about getting the smell of formalin off of hands... Hortense had a lot of fat and it seeped through the gloves🙁

That is awesome. I did zipline at my preorientation, and it was awesome!

DoktorB and Raaska will thoroughly enjoy this, but you others should to. The dress code for me, for OMM, is shorts and a tee with the shirt off upon physical examination. I'm not the skinniest/buffest guy in my OMM lab by any means and probably on the larger end of our subsection of group.

Anyway, we practiced structural abnormality assessments today by looking at symmetry points along the body. So, me being in front of the instructor lended me to standing shirtless in front of my classmates for a good 10-15 minutes having them nitpick at all my structural abnormalities. It was eye opening because I haven't noticed these things before and always a great way to get rid of bashfulness since I was standing there, shorts hiked up, and otherwise naked. Oh, we're crazy osteopaths(ic physicians).

Oof, I would not have done well under those circumstances. Kudos to you Bacchus 👍
