If Texas loses, they should just create a mini-playoff right now. Alabama as number 1 seed, Cinci as number 2 seed, TCU as number 3, and Boise as number 4. Then let them bash each other.

:shrug: Can't say I feel bad for Cincy after their game. TCU has a beef, but that's why we need a playoff.

I think the one terrible call I saw was the pass interference when the ball was clearly going out of bounds and was uncatchable. What else are you thinking?
 
Just give Bama the championship now. The SEC Championship has officially become the National Championship. After what I saw today from Texas, playing one of the two legit opponents all year (other was bad Okie which they put up a slightly better performance), no.

Actually I was just being ridiculous - that was the only one. :laugh:

But do you actually have faith in beating Bama after watching that crapfest?
 
wtf. must be nice to be giftwrapped a national championship appearance in every possible way for those last 90 seconds.

But seriously, I worry that Colt doesn't have the killer instinct to rise to big games. This and last week were way too close. We're going to get killed if we get that version of Colt McCoy next week.

Ugh. I can't even feel good about that win or talk about Texas winning the NC next month right now because even the biggest homer couldn't tell you we looked title-worthy tonight.
 
Kellen Moore is in there somewhere. He might be making an appearance in New York.

That's in an idealic world. My SEC Champion-National Champion statement was mainly reflective of the system we have now.

Yeah but whatever. Win is a win, and they're in the NC game. So everything is good in Texas land.

Depends. Texas is capable of playing a lot better... but they haven't shown it in two weeks. I really do think Colt has a fragile mental game... and now he's going to have Alabama getting in his head for a whole month before he plays.

So I'm worried. I think UT has the ability to compete with Alabama at every level. Whether or not they'll be able to... we'll have to see which Colt McCoy shows up in Pasadena.
