Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so tired of tests... someone please tell me I can get 2 B's this semester and it won't matter. :scared: My instinct tells me to fight for every A, but does it really matter at this point? What does it take to lose an acceptance?

Boy, I don't think I can ever run out of things to be neurotic about.

Monta is a PG.

Nah, he's a SG. Especially next to Steph Curry, who has some potential too. Harris and Westbrook too. And then don't forget the vets we still have (Nash, Kidd, Parker, Billups, Nelson, Calderon just right off the top of my head). Definitely a great time for PGs in the NBA.

 B's are fine. my transcript is chocked full of them. you'll be ok. relax, do your best.

do you think guard play is getting saturated though?

yea, i'm waiting for the next KG.

LMA still isnt there. needs to get tougher and make his own shots (although he put up 20 last night)
Pau is good
Rashard doesn't have post moves like KG
Dirk is good

I'm not sure exactly what that means. I do think, though, that point guards are a lot better/having their stats inflated relative to where they were 5-10 years ago and that at least some of that can be traced to the way they're calling the games now relative to years ago (i.e. less hand-checking, etc).

I don't think we'll see a power forward/center like Tim and KG for a while. I love Pau's game and Dirk has been a stud

no way, they would HAVE to take John Wall. the guy is that good

This is assuming the Nets get the #1 - the worst teams generally don't get #1 pick, I think the Cavs were the only team to do it.

Monta switched to the 2 and Curry took over the point guard role.

That's just dumb - they basically have 2 shooting guards.

yea some random ass team will get the #1 pick. hopefully the sixers though

If we're talking PF or C, Howard? We've also got to see how Blake Griffin looks when he gets on the court; he looked great pre-season.

I think he's just saying that IF the Nets got the pick, they'd take him.

tim duncan and KG aren't true true centers to me though. dwight is (even though he's kinda short comparitively)

i don't believe in Al Jefferson and I don't know about Bosh being the best player on a top 4 team

6-11 is not short for a center.

hedo and rashard were both 6-11 too, and they basically stood outside the 3 pt line (altho rashard has some post moves). Dwight has ridiculous athleticism though, if he gets in some footwork and learns to not give up room in the paint, he'd be the best player in the NBA

What happened to his supposed plan to develop offensive moves over the summer?

actually they're 6-10. Huge difference.

who would you say is the best player on the celtics

Man, that's hard. Allen, Garnett and Pierce are all aging and getting worse, but Rondo and Perkins are emerging at the same time. In a lot of ways, ironically, they remind me of the 04 Pistons now with their 5-headed monster of good-to-very-good players but no great players. If I had to pick one I'm still going with KG as their best player, just because of how he anchors the defense while still giving them a post presence when they want it on offense, but they're all important.

I would say KG and Pierce in a toss-up. But don't count Allen out for a 35-40 point game once a month or so if he gets hot from 3.

I came very close to saying Rondo. The way he carves up the defense really sets up opportunities for everyone else. But then he wouldn't get so many assists if his teammates weren't so good too. That's just a team that has a bunch of really good players that compliment each other perfectly.

i just watched last night's glee! :biglove:

who else follows it?!?

It always takes longer to pack up your car than you think it will.

Yeah, I'm worried about next Saturday going home. I'm gonna be out late Friday at our end of block party (probably 1-2), then I have something to do in San Antonio at 10am. It's about a 3-3.5 hour drive to San Antonio depending on if I feel like there are a lot of cops out there... so I have to somehow be awake (and sobered up) about 4 hours after I get home, and somehow throw all my stuff in my car in half an hour and be ready to go... AND not fall asleep.

I think I can pull it off 😛

Holy **** I almost got hit by a car walking to my final today. The pedestrian signal was on so I crossed and girl's car was a foot away from my leg. 😱 She was driving fast enough that I probably would have gotten hurt.

Throw stuff in your car while you're sobering up. That usually works for me.

Except one time when I was loading dumbbells and I tripped, cracking my car's tail-light.

My exam's over at noonish Friday, so I've got plenty of time to pack my stuff and get it organized Friday. I'll just have to literally throw it in the car, and we only get 2 weeks of break so I don't think I'll be THAT weighted down. 3-4 trips house-to-car... throw in a bowl of cereal and I think I can do that in half an hour.

Speaking of exams... I should go study.

Seems like it's back to a high school schedule.

I get almost 6 weeks of winter break this year. 😛

Okay, off to NOLA.

t-mac? really?

t-mac? really?

China. You'll notice Aaron Brooks is stupidly high too.

Is Tony Parker really not in the top 11 guards in voting? Damn.

Tim has been great this year, our team hasn't so I'm not surprised he's not starting.

Other than that, Joe Johnson should start in the east over Carter, but it's not a glaring mistake.

the line-ups should be

Dwight
Lebron
Josh Smith
Joe Johnson
Wade

Bynum/Marc Gasol
Dirk
Melo
Kobe
Steve Nash/CP3
