That's true. I think our Arts and Sciences College 2200 people graduate and had around 20 Phi Beta Kappa's (they get special stars on the program). I know around 8 of those though, and they all had at least one A-s, so maybe around 10 4.0's? Apparently the girl from our school that did MTV real world (Parisa) had a 4.0.
If you add the business school, I think we would get a lot more 4.0s. Those kids are intense
UW madison...i forgot to say lol😛
go badgers😛...actually im more excited to go to some packer games. I think greenbay is like a 2 hr drive or so not far. My goal for med school is get packer season tickets. Since the rams left cali i miss having a team...even then they sucked. And dont say oakland...they dont even deserve to be called a NFL team.😛
Okay guys, don't cheat. Here's a mental teaser:
The Monty Hall Problem
"Suppose you're on a game show, and you're given the choice of three doors. Behind one door is a car, the others, goats. You pick a door, say #1, and the host, who knows what's behind the doors, opens another door, say #3, which has a goat. He says to you: 'Do you want to pick door #2?' Is it to your advantage to switch your choice of doors?"

i think it is to your advantage to switch, since before your chances of being right were only 1/3 and by switching you'd pick the car 2/3 of the time

Stone when is your osu interview?

i dont really understand the logic here. we know that the car is not in door 3, therefore eliminating that as a possibility all together. its either in door 1 or door 2 at this point
EDIT: nevermind. just had to think about it some more
Since there are two goats, and you can only pick one, the host will always be able to show you a goat behind the door he picks. It doesn't change anything.
Edit: In case anyone else can't figure it out.

one of my friends going into finance told me this brain teaser that she got asked in her interviews a few times:
say you have two ropes of the same length, and you know each rope takes exactly one hour to burn. however, the ropes are not of uniform or identical consistency, so they burn at varying and different rates all along their length. with only these two ropes, how can you measure out exactly 45 minutes?

hmm... burn a rope from both ends... at the conclusion of this 30 minutes pass... if you then start the second rope from both sides and from the center... 15 minutes? total 45?one of my friends going into finance told me this brain teaser that she got asked in her interviews a few times:

the ropes one: light one rope at both ends and the other rope at one end. when the first rope's ends meet, light the other end of the second rope. i think. don't point and laugh if i'm wrong... i drew myself a picture!

ok so lets label the doors 1 (goat) 2 (goat) 3 (car)!
case 1: say you pick door 1 originally. the host gets rid of door 2 and switching means you win
case 2: say you pick door 2 originally. the host gets rid of door 1 and switching means you win again
case 3: say you pick door 3 originally. the host gets rid of either door 1 or 2 and switching means you get a goat (lame).
so 2/3 of the time you'd get a car by switching
Was that in 21? Haha, I forgot if it was. No, I'm just procrastinating studying.
