Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Come on, now, that would ruin the fun!

Yeah, I know which ones I missed.

The Seahawks and Bucs are correct, and I missed on the Vikings and Broncos.

So it's:

1. Patriots
2. Colts
3. Steelers
4. Eagles
5. Chargers
6. Giants
7. Jets
8. Packers
9. Seahawks
10. Bucs
11. Titans
12. Ravens

It's tough going back that far and mostly just to try and figure out who was good back then.

Things have changed so much. The Rams were so dominant at the beginning of the decade and look at them now. The Chargers were horrible at the beginning as well.

Dude, no cheating. You replaced your picks way too quick. Unless you're wrong . Spurs?

Yeah, I'll take my 10 for 12. That's how many I got without looking them up. 🙂

LAME.

The list is:

Jets
Ravens
Patriots
Steelers
Colts
Titans
Chargers
Eagles
Buccaneers
Packers
Giants
Seahawks

Now, let's make this a little harder. Of those twelve, eight made it 6+ times. Tell me which 4 made it only made it 5 times. (assuming you haven't looked it up 😉)

This will be the last round I do this; if you go any further, it gets uninteresting.

Early Doucet again!

All he needed was a chance to play and see what he's doing? That's LSU representing in the NFL again. Except for Jamarcus, we don't claim him.

I think it's already uninteresting. I concede about the Jets. 🙄

Yeah the Jets were the one I was most surprised about.

I think if you guys go through it, you might be surprised to find out which ones only made it 5 times. Once you get to 7+ it's stupid (I'll tell you now, it's the Patriots, Colts and Eagles).

I knew it. If you're gonna cheat, at least don't post the answers. 🙄

Y'all talk too much when I'm gone.

I went to see The Princess and the Frog with my mommy. I felt very Louisianan because I knew what all the Cajun-y things meant.

Also, my favorite line: "Actually, we are from a place far, far away from this world..." "Go to bed! Y'all from Shreveport?!"

 I knew you were gonna love that line when you got to it.

Seahawks
Giants
Buccaneers
Jets

...My random guess just to get it out of the way.

OK, since I seem to be the only one that thinks it's mildly interesting... replace the Giants with the Chargers on your list, and you've got it.

I had really forgotten how dismal the Chargers were at the beginning of the decade.

That's why Eli Manning didn't want to go there. At first it looked like a dumb idea when the Chargers won 14 games soon after, but I guess Eli's SuperBowl is more important to him.

Like the whole theater laughed at that. Afterwards, my mom was like "I feel bad for all the non-Louisianans who won't get that joke"

I just remembered either you or metallica said something about how in their LSU-NO interview they asked what their parents thought about them living in a "big city" like New Orleans or something like that. Something about how lots Louisianans will live forever in their hometown, and especially at least in-state.

So I sort of got the joke 🙂 And there were plenty of other good, no-inside-knowledge-required jokes too 😀

Shreveport is now marketing itself as "The Next Great City of the South"

Lol, wish them luck on that one for me.
So, is GB gonna pull this one out? I think they will.
Well, seeing as I had Arizona before the game, no reason to change now. I do think this stage is a little too big for Rodgers at this stage of his career, against the defending NFC champs and a Kurt Warner who knows this is his last hurrah.

Yeah, that was me.

Some of my girlfriend's family (they live an hour south of Shreveport) are very intimidated by coming into New Orleans and usually leave before dark.

A lot of Louisianians are very scared/intimidated by New Orleans and much prefer their own places. Hell, they think Baton Rouge is a big city.

For anyone who cares about college hoops this early in the year, Tennessee is up on No. 1 Kansas late in the second half.

Interesting. Tennessee is one of those really good teams that plays crappy the majority of the year.

This game is over. I don't care how good Green Bay is, Saints are playing Arizona next week.

Hopefully they're not this on and we don't turn the ball over a lot.

their defense cant stop the cards so no. Its basically over unless the cards have a breakdown or have a few turnovers. When it comes to the playoffs i just have a lot of faith in warner.

It's really annoying how slow the internet at my house can sometimes be. 😡

Going to go see The Blind Side. Should be good, but I won't be happy when I see Nick Saban pop in and say he's from LSU.

Tennessee is also injured right now so they're being pretty scrappy to put up this kind of fight. Tie game now.

Green Bay will be better next year with a year of experience.
Did you see Duke lost to Georgia Tech and Mizzou beat K-State yesterday?
I had not, too many other things going on yesterday to see that.

Both were good games, and ended in between the two NFL games.

That's the only reason I saw them.
