yeah...I think you have to be 13 to sign up (dont quote me on that though)...but my coworker let her 7 year old daughter have one. She says that she monitors everything.

Will it be a ranch or a colonial? Does it have a hot-tub? And when you say y'all, does that mean me and Hoody are getting a home together? I mean, I don't think I'm ready for that type of financial commitment, let alone living with a complete stranger. Will it be lake front? If it's lake front then I'm down. Jet skis = amazing. How big is the backyard? Is it an energy efficient home? Is it like one of the homes in Detroit with 30 gallons of antifreeze and a meth lab in the basement with syringes scattered all throughout the house? I can't wait for this house-shopping season you are speaking of. Which Sdner will be our real estate agent?

oh and before anyone else asks -- you can go to advanced search, search for posts by your username and sort results by last post date in ascending order

My douchebaggery will make itself available after I get accepted; believe that. I think I was just misunderstood for a while, I think I've made a better way of communicating my point. I've also grown a tad bit, i.e. the difference between a frosh and a soph. Like 30 credits difference.

yeah, you can also restrict searches to the pre-allopathic forum, so as long as you posted here within your first 300 posts on the pre-allopathic forum, you should be able to scroll through and find it

the default setting on the search is to sort results by last posting date in "descending order." if you change it to "ascending order," it'll give you your oldest 300 posts =)

Haha. The controversy was me 1. questioning the quality of the med-school of my current undergrad due to a lot of what I was hearing from unreliable sources and 2. calling out the pre-med community of my undergrad. I hadn't met students that I would want to be my doctor and now I have finally met some thru research and upper level classes as well as at some parties. I literally hadn't met a pre-med who knew what they were getting themselves into or was social. I've met a much broader range of pre-meds as well as other people in general and have branched out a ton. My undergrad has tons to offer and it is wrong of me to take it for granted because I could be in a much worse situation. I had a superiority complex because I had gotten accepted into higher tiered schools and was forced into my undergrad by the financial strangle of my balls by my parents. They probably made the most intelligent decision and I hadn't realized it at the time.

If what you are talking about is Tzatziki then costco carries it.

I also recommend laban and labne. Arabic yogurts of different consistencies packed with flavor. They go great with hummus and pita bread.

In my defense of my first 2014 post, I sort of said hello in my first post ever.. Just not in this thread. I didn't realize the epicness of this thread at the time.

They're like $1.50 - $2.00. They're 2 at our super expensive on campus grocery store. But they're filling. I eat them as lunch sometimes, so it ends up not being expensive at all. Definitely filling enough for breakfast.

Wow, sounds like you've learned/grown a lot.

I totally know what you're talking about with the bolded, though. My school's range of premeds don't instill any high level of confidence in me (with the exception of a few) and I know a lot of them will be getting into med school since it is easier to make it in LA than other places.

Oh wellz, things will work themselves out.

Can you substitute similar stores? I.e. Whole foods for trader joes or wal-mart for costco? I don't know if I could survive without costco, unless their was a wal-mart/sams club within a 5 mile radius of my living arrangement.

IMO, Whole Foods =/= TJ's. TJ's has really good prices. Whole Foods is expensive.
 
I saw something on Travel Channel about Trader Joe's - it looks awesome. I swear, we have no selection of anything in Louisiana, it's pathetic. Every time I leave this state I see new varieties of potato chips, chain stores, restaurants, etc...

Annoying.
 
That was indeed my first post. But then I didn't say anything after that for a bit. Then I just decided to barge in a few weeks later I think.

Yeah I also stated my faith which was a bad opinion because it gave everyone on here a platform to judge me on. I may view things differently than the norm, but just because I believe something doesn't mean I have to act the same way as everyone else who believes in it. I think holding anyone to any type of moral standard based on their belief is wrong, but it happens anyways. I am more so a fundamentalist of virtue ethics. What you're doing is right based on a universal right or wrong; not based on what you believe. If someone believes in child abuse, I don't think that makes it right and if someone doesn't believe in giving to the poor that doesn't make giving to the poor wrong either. Just my personal view, but I should definitely have kept some of my thoughts to my self and am lucky to still have my anonymity.

That's pretty expensive compared to Yoplait's $.69 or something. But if it's healthy and super tasty, I'll definitely try it! I've cut down my Naked Juice intake substantially, so that should leave me plenty to spend.

Whole Foods is pretty cool, but expensive.

It's also bigger though. I'm not sure the size of a yoplait, but chobani is 6oz
 
Naked Juice always looked pretty gross to me.

I like Whole Foods, but they are expensive. Bought some kalamari rings a while ago and made some awesome fried squid. 👍 Can't find that at WalMart.

I prefer Fresh Market's cheese selection, though.
