😀 Since approximately star date 14.1.2010 - had to add some flair to that pic of Capella*. I thought it was really funny the Case thread went off on the Trek tangent a couple weeks later, because I don't think anyone noticed! lol

Went to a buddy's for a few... decided on a whim to not go to the bar with them though. Wallet was feeling too thin and I'm too tired out from a long day at work. I sound like a gramps right now....

But I need to save up for tomorrow night. Childhood buddies coming in from 3 different cities all over Ohio... that's always trouble.

Odd. All sorts of staff where I work have tattoos and piercings and its personal choice if you want to cover it up or not. Personal expression is becoming much more acceptable these days. 👍

Trying to book my Philly hotel. The cheapest rates are under the 'Advanced Purchase' heading.

"Advance purchase is required and Reservations require full prepayment for the entire stay at time of booking. This special rate is nonrefundable and prepayment is charged to your credit card between time of booking and day of arrival."

I don't get the difference minus the nonrefundable part. Should I go this route?

I'd say yeah. Otherwise you'd have to purchase travelers insurance to get refunded anyway. Barring some serious emergancy/disaster, you'll be there. And even though I've used this option (advance purhcase), I was able to get a refund once when I ended up having to cancel.

Nice. Yeah I was planning on doing this... I'm just not familiar with all these headings so I wanted to check here first. I'll book it sometime tomorrow.

That reminds me, I need to get on booking a flight to Richmond since I recently received the RSVP stuff for second look. Of course, I have to decide if I actually will go, but I think I will. I would kind of like to drive and make a week's trip of it.
 
I just got back from a party and am still really drunk and smiley and I'm in my boxers right now. Just wanted to put it out there.

And thumbs up to the lions who signed Kyle Vanden Bosch, Nate Burleson, and traded for Corey Williams. Throw in the fact that they are looking at Thomas Jones, Pacman Jones, and Chester Pitts and the Lions could be a contender in our division (remember I'm a lil tipsy).

I'm curious, have you guys shadowed in the areas that you are most interested in? It made me fall in love - I cannot W A I T for clinicals *drool*

Maybe, you never know. If Favre comes back, I think Vikings have it - but Packers are close behind. NFC North is going to be interesting next year.

I haven't. 🙁 I've only shadowed EM and Ophtho. EM will be my fallback if I can't decide.

I'm trying to shadow some Ortho right now, but no one seems to answer the phones (and I forget to call). I just don't know any doctors.

The Vikings will draft a QB. Chicago has no draft picks. Chicago does have Jay Cutler and just signed a Julius peppers, Brandon Manumaleuna, as well as Chester Taylor (all players that I think will end up being busts). Green Bay sas no offensive line, even though they resigned Clifton. The lions will draft Suh and a cornerback with blount the runningback from oregon who punches peoples faces in the 3rd or 4th round. I think the Lions will improve a lot as a team. I don't think Adrian Peterson can stay healthy and stop fumbling and that will cripple Minnesota in the end. Minnesota will win the division, but won't go too far in the playoffs. Green Bay will suffer if they keep feeding Aaron Rodgers to the wolves. Chicago will go 8-8 or around that. They just don't have any receivers and I know Mike Martz is a genius, but he can't make something out of nothing.
