OU plays tonight for the championship game. It'd be so awesome if OU got in especially because U of M didn't.
 
Done with my run! And I think I ran faster than I do on treadmill! That hill did not get the best of me...YES! That last couple of miles were pretty miserable though cause it got super sunny and is like 70 degrees outside.
Feeling good...was even ready to face my rejection...judging by the fact that they went out right as I was leaving lol. But...I come back and still no email from Duke.
I swear...they are toying with me!
 
God...I hope so.
Emory decisions seem to be arriving today too. Not really holding my breath about actually getting that letter on time (if it does come) our school mail center is slow as molasses.

This might sound callous (cause what happened to those people does suck immensely) but I would rather have than than waiting since September.

Thanks for the congrats on the run....towards the end there I was getting tired kicked my shins like 3 times...OUCHHHHH! Those damn soles are so hard too!

agree. Id like instant decisions not lets wait 4+ months and then most likely we are just going to wl or reject u 😛

Totally. Thanks Stanford, for waiting so long to mail me my rejection that I actually forgot I applied until I saw the envelope, momentarily got excited again, only to be crushed with disappointment.

I'm expecting to see an explosion of smiley faces and ridiculous pictures if/when Taty gets good news from Duke today

Amen to that. But for me, I might not ever even get a decision. Baylor just leaves you hanging until you pick another school and doesn't officially reject you until their class starts. 👎

haha ok, that's an acceptable answer🙂 i hope we can at least win a game or two- i think we have the capability of beating any team, it's just a matter of putting a solid 40 mins together rather than falling apart. like when we were hanging in with duke a couple weeks ago then just completely lost it.
 
wow, if someone put down 100k on AIG at 1 PM they would have made a profit of 12k by 1:30 PM, i wonder what happened

Yeah, I think they are doing a poor job interviewing everyone they extended offers to. A buddy of mine kind of was in the same scenario, interviewed last week after nagging them for months without ever being given a date.

I'm thinking anyone who drops 100k like that probably doesn't think too much of a 12k gain, though.

Still, that's insane.
 
likeliest scenario: duke draws out decision-sending on purpose so they can have a week-long party in the admissions office and laugh like this :meanie: while sipping martinis.

Update: I just uncovered an even larger pile of work that was left for me. I'll probably get this mess sorted out by the time I matriculate this summer/fall. At least I have job security until then.
