mmmm brownies!

I just had meat-less meat balls and spaghetti and it was DELICIOUS!

Precious is super sad.

yea their cookies were great

what did you think of the gym and the sim clinic

They're gym was awesome and so was the simulation clinic. Their facilities were great overall. While you were there, did you get to take a look in the Miami Project for the Cure of Paralysis?

just started watching precious

Ooo, how is it?

lol veggie balls!
Lol I guess...but meatballs is kind of a set word lol. I made them out of this meatless sausage stuff called Gimme Lean...for like three days I was wondering why it is called that. Today...it hit me that it is a play on the words "Jimmy Dean" duhhhhhhhhhhh

It was really really cool. The technology they use there is fascinating.

Another girl and I were the only ones with our interviews at a particular time during the day, so we got a 2 hour long tour, just us and a student. We got to see all parts of the campus that I don't think were part of the regular tour. It was really neat.

yes ma'am 🙂

Oh okay, cool. Somehow I missed this fact when the topic of vegetarianism has been discussed before...

i think its even harder for women though (academia, i mean)

we actually had a CT surgeon give a talk about the career path and he was asked honestly to give advice to women going into surgery and he just had to come out and be like... um don't plan on having a family

About 1/2 the surgeons I know (male or female) are divorced or unmarried. Very demanding work to be in a relationship

I wish I got a 40 on my MCAT. Would not be in limbo right now that is for sure.

guys you did fine on your MCAT! one of my premed advisors is an HMS MD/PhD student who got a 30 on his MCAT. it's a crapshoot and the process is more subjective than a lot of people on sdn believe.

Holy crap did that just happen? 😱

that was insane!! it should really help va tech out if kentucky wins. although this performance by miss st might be enough to get em in even if they lose.

i'll join in on the "i wish i got a 40" bandwagon. i had a hard eough time getting 30 though, so i don't think i'd have a prayer of ever getting 40😛

Nevermind, I didn't know you got accepted at 2 schools. Congrats. Don't retake.

 Okay, now we're on the same page.

Mos def. Theoretically, I shouldn't have received half of the interview invites I got. I was pretty far under the median stats-wise for 4 out of 7 invites.

I hope VaTech gets in as well. I'm just not so sure - this bubble battle today is ridiculous. You'd also better hope that Minnesota loses, even though people are saying they're in regardless.

I know, I am just being bitter about being stuck in limbo with Duke. *sigh*

oooh guys...I am getting pink (mega) heels to go with my graduation ceremony dress...sweeeeeet!
