i loved that show!!

shows i've been watching regularly:

-desperate housewives
-amazing race
-big bang theory
-24
-make it or break it (yes, i love abc family haha)
-biggest loser
-american idol (usually do something else while i watch though if it gets boring)
-lost: not caught up to the current season yet
-grey's
-private practice
-medium
-flashforward
-criminal minds (love this one!)

shows i catch sometimes:
-2.5 men
-modern family
-csi's/law and orders: esp svu
-anything on food network
-hgtv: mostly shows about people buying houses...i love looking at houses for some reason
-sportsceter/pti/around the horn, etc
-football/baseball/basketball/gymnastics
-wheel of fortune/jeopardy


i think that's about it...wow that's a lot lol. in my defense, living at home with the rents is quite boring and i'll def cut down next year😛



and also-just had chocolate peanut butter ice cream...sooo delicious!🙂

what's your PI doing, ksmi?

my PI is so chill and awesome that i feel like i should stay in his lab during med school just to have that kind of atmosphere. but i don't think i'd get much done if i were to stay...he's just too busy and the lab is too small for me to get any kind of legit experience. in my two years there i don't feel like i've really accomplished anything (plus, i think i'd like to jump into a new field of research besides genomics)

Just being condescending, but without being obvious about it. I'm an undergrad with other classes and responsibilities. He can't expect me to spend every waking moment on my thesis.
 
...The last thing I remember it was 8:40 and I was just going to snooze one more time....

And then it was 3:00....

Just had a pizza bagel. It made me feel a little better. Now I'm in bed again. I've had a really bad back strain since Friday, and it's not getting better. Thus, bed is where I hang out. It's the least painful position to be in. 🙂

I really like my PI...despite his obvious bias against pre-meds in research. He can be biased against me all he wants considering I am given pretty much free reign and make my own project to do.

Similar thing happened to me. Cept I woke up at like 10, worked out, was on my way to the lab to do some work when I saw the census people. Took their dang test. (Worried about one of the people administering because, to be quite honest he smelled like a habitual alcohol drinker and it made me sad) Passed with flying colors. Ate my double chocolate chip+strawberry cream cheese bagel. Checked my mail and got a letter+gift (haha 99% of it at least) from Sammie.Tutored a friend. Did my beta gal assay and now I am typing this ridiculously long explanation of my day.

Do whatever you want, like Taty said, I would never really ask you that and you earned the right to do with your acceptances as you wish. :laugh:

People in my Biochem classes were talking about trying to get an A average in Cell Bio by the 3rd test so that they could get a rec letter. 🙄 A decent grade in a class does not a good rec letter make.
 
got an invite to evms's second look but the info is as an attachment in the email and i can't see it on my phone. very frusturating! i'm really curious to see when it is because penn state's is apr 24-25 and my half marathon is may 1 so i'm hoping it's neither of those weekends.

They're my babies, so I'm going to keep bothering you until you're all participating regularly :d
