Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Kidneys and aquaporin channels. Heart and Atrial Natriuretic Factor. Lungs and ACE as well as pH regulation due to acidosis and alkalosis. Gotta know the whole pathway for how ADH acts on principle cells in the cortical collecting duct. Have to memorize the counter current exchange multiplier. Have to know how to calculate renal clearance. Have to know forces that cause glomerular filtration. have to know macula densa and it's affect on renin-angiotensin-aldosterone. Have to know about the osmoreceptors that cause the supraoptic paraventricular neurons to create ADH and how ADH is stored in the posterior pituitary.

Graduate level physiology is pretty thorough.

So I don't really know anything about basketball. Should I just pick random teams for the bracket thingy or should I have a system, like by colors or state?

It's all about school Prestige!!!!!

I would just flip a coin for each game if I didn't know anything about it.

That sounds really intense. I also glossed over every word that was longer than like 5 letters.

Maybe I'll do a point system where my fav colors and states, in terms of where I would want to live, get the most points. Let's see how far that takes me...

I said I'd go to bed at 4 and here I am 35 mins later...

Good night oakland and good luck on your test! :luck:

😴

You guys gotta read my post in the "What will you do if there you can't become a doctor" thread. It's pure ecstasy.

Morning peeps where you at?!?!?

:hello: It's getting to be about that time now!

man, i was just gonna have a couple of beers last night. but it ended up being a few beers couple of white russians and a couple of car bombs

Sort of. They wander Boston quite a bit

Yeah, Boston is one of their sites. I'm thinking of this as an option for next year (should I not get into medical school) and wanted to know if anyone around here knew more about it.

my friend did the one in DC. he said it was a great experience but he was unhappy by the end (more of a home sickness thing, I guess?)

wow, the stupid crap that people do on ripley's believe it or not...

there is a woman bungee jumping with only a dude holding on to the top of the bungee cord because he wants to demonstrate his 'super strength'

A little bit... Know of any good international service organizations?
I went to Ghana with Unite for Sight in December. I thought it was amazing. You don't get paid though - I don't know if that would be an issue for you. They also have locations in India.

It's a two for one. Super Stupidity and Super Strength.

Well, I wish I could say it wasn't an issue, but otherwise, I just don't have the funds to travel there and back. 🙁 Know of any other groups? I saw on the City Year website they have branches in London and South Africa, but I'm not sure how that works... Perhaps they allow international volunteers but maybe only domestic?

i am so far wrist-slap free 😎

This is my second. The first was for posting a video of some homeless guy swearing up a storm and beating up a car with a crowbar. I was trying to illustrate the kind of lifestyle those of us that choose primary care have to look forward to. Sadly, it was not appreciated.

i was watching videos of match day, i could probably see myself be really indifferent that day

oh wow, i was watching the umdnj one, and there was an elderly 4th year med student who had kids of the ages b/w 7-9. he found out he matched at michigan and his daughter was like "you said if we moved to michigan, we could get a dog" and jumped up and down. touching

That's sweet. How old do you mean when you say "elderly" though?
