If I get my Wii online, I'm not even sure if I'll be able to play. My roommates control the TV downstairs and watch crappy shows all day/night long.

One reason why I don't like when one roommate doesn't have a TV in their room - they dominate/live in the living room and it's awkward sometimes.

We'll see.
 
also, this would be an epic fail if the online wii thing doesn't work. is there a way to test it before friday?

We can try. I'm not too free before Thursday - two exams this week. Thursday night wanna get together?

yeah we can either do that, or you can just try it out on your network (i'm not sure how thursday looks yet for me, will let you know)

it worked for me the night I downloaded old school Mario.. I'm not sure if it matters if it's on a different network though.

Tat and Stein, there's a Fb application for bananagrams, but it sucks and is totally not representative of the awesomeness of the real game.

Hmm, I don't think anyone's figured me out yet, or at least they haven't told me about it, although the weird, stupid **** that only I would say on here could easily be traced back to me by my friends.

I had two people figure me out after they interviewed with me. I mean, if I come on here and say "I just got back from X school" and one of those people that interviewed with me is online, they can figure me out easily.
 
being called out is not a big deal.

i've been playing this strategy game, romance of the three kingdoms 11, supposedly the most complex strategy game ever. it's pretty fun tho! it's very satisfying to see yourself start with one measly city with terrible officers and end up conquering all of china.

Oh, I meant that I don't care if my friends know. They'd be able to tell by how I say the word **** a lot, my love of lolcats, and how I went to Boston to see my best friend. And I don't say anything here that I wouldn't already IRL. I just don't like strangers knowing my bizness.

My computer is suuuuucking. It's so friggin slow. I think it's getting back at me because I've been hating on it so much lately. I'm sorry laptop. Please don't die on me now.

I've played 1, 3, 4, and 9 before, loved 'em all! 1 was in all Japanese, so I had to play with a translation book right next to me at all times :laugh:

I guess it helps if you like that period of history, I've read the ROTK books like a billion times in addition to having watched a lot of movies/TV series etc. based on it.

i've read the books and they were ok, but it's just the games that i'm not big on. oh man, translation books remind me of the old days of bootlegged ROMs and homebrew translation packs..

The books are awesome, haha. I've always liked the game too, once you figure out all the intricacies you can start with some pretty crappy rulers and still manage to unite China. That's always the most fun, watching your empire grow little by little and backstab your way to the top :laugh: The pacing is REALLY slow tho, especially in the newest version.
 
there are other games with similar premises like Civ3 etc that are more fun though in my opinion

that happened to me at jhu, kind of awkward. we were sitting in the admissions office with all the interviewees within earshot of deans and other assorted important people. someone called me out by my sdn name.
