you are gonna have to fly there and take a look around. i would keep up with craigslist up until then so you have certain expectation of pricing.

im not sure if you would want to live that close to the hospital, are you taking a car?

money that you need to have on hand

1st month, last month, security deposit (so 3x monthly rent)
cost of essential furniture (bed + desk)
cost of the physical move (gas/plane ride/truck/etc)

Thanks man, got one more question. What do you do with furniture? I don't plan to move any of my current set of furniture, so do people usually buy new ones, get furnished apts, or rent furniture?

yea, i'm def bringing my car wherever i go. why not near the hospital? traffic, distractions?

That's not too bad. I think I'm gonna move like 1 week early and find a place online.

dang, only a week? even if going across the country?

i craigslisted for furniture when i moved to philly. cheap stuff. sometimes u can get the last tenant to leave their furniture

i dont know. i drove to cleveland and i liked the downtown area better, but thats just me, im a downtown kinda dude

dang, west virgina's getting killed.

the downtown area seems pretty good, though i didn't drive there so i didn't get to take a look around. it seems like traffic might be a pain tho.

really? cleveland is a pretty empty ass city, i stayed there for 2 nights - the train/tram on euclid seems kinda annoying tho

if its a Duke v. Butler final, 64% of the players will be white. that color is coming back

Speaking of eggs, that reminds me of the Physics Olympics I participated in when I was in high school. The competition I was in was the "Egg Drop", basically we had to build something that stops an egg falling from increasing heights and not have it break. The group that can have the highest height wins.

So my group, like me, is lazy, and we thought of the simplest solution possible = pad it with grass. The thing worked like a friggin charm, we threw the test eggs as hard as we could into the box and it wouldn't break. So we showed up to the competition with basically a box of grass, and they DQ'd us because it wasn't "engineered". I was like WTF man, why the hell do I have to make some fancy system when a friggin box of grass works perfectly fine? We tried to tape a few thin threads of scotch tape on top of the box to break the fall and make it "engineered", but they still wouldn't let us participate 🙁

Basically you hit hard boiled eggs together and try to break the other person's egg. It's a lot of fun and not really dependent on strategy at all. Just how strong the shells are.

do you have to use chicken eggs? an ostrich egg would win for sure.

Okay guys and gals. I'm trying to set my team up for this fantasy baseball thing... How do I change my starting lineup and whatnot? (I never actually changed anything the other time I did the fantasy thing lol)

Hmmm... Nevermind... I think I'm getting the hang of it. I'm not sure what some of the numbers mean yet though lol...

if it's the yahoo version then you just drag and drop. as for the numbers, you don't have to know what they mean, you just have to know which one you want to have high and which one you want to have low. then you start/sign the guys who give you the best combo and bench/drop the guys who don't.

this might be old but...

So what do these letters mean in batting: H/AB, R, H, SB, BB, K, E, AVG, OPB.

And what do these letters mean in pitching: IP, W, SV, K, ERA, WHIP.

My baseball/softball lingo is a little rusty 😳.
