In other news, I talked to the PR people, and the reason they want me to do ACT is that MCAT training was last weekend. 🙁 But as soon as they have another training, I'll be able to go to that, and I can teach both. 😀

Now, this brings up another issue. If I want to teach during the year, I probably should not do colorguard. But I don't know how I'll like teaching. Also, there's the whole interview thing, the being a student in the student section thing, sigh. Maybe I shouldn't do it. I'd miss it a lot a lot. But it might be better for my sanity and for my monies situation. Thoughts?

Projection is one of Freud's defense mechanisms where an individual places their emotions/feeling/desires onto another individual, usually the individual of their root drive/desire state, and reverses the feelings, so it is to seem as if they have those said feelings for them not the other way around. 😉

Psych degree for the win on this one.


I do, however, have to agree with Spurs on this one. Freud isn't my favorite. Some of his theories were whacked. Some good, but most were too mind centered with very little data to back them up. Skinner on the other hand, there is a true scientist.

Good afternoon, folks. Moving day for me. Then finals tomorrow and Friday. Then MCAT the following Thursday. Then leave for summer research program 3 days after that. Then submit application 2 days later. Then things and stuff and stuff and things and stuff. . . :scared: :scared: :scared:

Sanity is nowhere on my schedule for at least a month. CRAZY

sigh, that's pretty much what i meant. what i was really trying to say is that the situation you spoke of isn't really an example of when projection would be used. so 😉 yourself.
