me too!!🙂 i think if i knew which school i'll be at it would seem more real, but i'm still super excited.

i'm excited for the summer too-i'm stopping work at the end of june then planning a bunch of trips in july to visit friends, hang out at the beach, etc😀

huh interesting. it seems like there aren't any pro athletes/famous people that just have normal, stable marriages.

there was a lot of drinking and revelry. also, there was a college carnival where we threw water balloons at each other and had pie eating contests. so yes, you missed a lot of important stuff. 😎

but i have a feeling i might be shunned from this thread if i end up choosing duke :laugh:
 
i would rather her go to duke and act like she hates being there than have jla go to harvard and think about what-could-have-been at Raleigh. As long as she doesn't support Duke, its all cool with me

with harvard's financial aid, are you looking at a huge cost difference or is it fairly comparable?
 
that beamer benz or bentley song has become the official anthem of my wall street friends (or the generally rich ones)

fairly comparable...i have pretty much full tuition covered by need based aid at HMS for my first year. also, at HST you get paid to do research (between 10-20k a year, depending on how much time you devote to research), so HMS could still end up being cheaper...

Duke has the advantage of being guaranteed full tuition covered for four years. my HMS financial aid will vary since in future years I'm not likely to meet the middle income initiative (I was borderline this year because the economy sucked...also, my sister will be graduating college after my second year).
