I did a 62 mile bike ride to raise funds for a new simulation center at a local medical center. While descending from the foothills I hit 47.9 mph, according to my bike computer. That was pretty interesting. Glad I didn't fall; I would have experienced medicine from the patient's perspective.

Nice! I want to buy a roadbike, but there's two things stopping me.

1. I already ride my bike around town too fast. It's dangerous.
2. Roadbikes are effing expensive holy crap!

Too true, but they are worth every penny!
 
best thing this week = if u start the week on monday then nothing yet, prolly this sunday when i'll play circket, or tomorrow when i go to DC to a job fair with a friend or on saturday when i am hanging out with an old friend.

Is it true that cricket takes a really long time to finish a game?
 
This is a sad post:

The best thing that happened to me this week is I got 2 of my 5 LORs. Now I'm depressed. I need to go skydiving or something.

I was just talking to my indian friend about this today. There's three different lengths.

1. The really old school one which takes ~5 days.
2. The one that most tournaments used until this past year which takes ~ 8 hours.
3. The one that takes 3 hours which is used in some tournaments now. These rules began being used in the last year.

It has to do with how many people are up to bat. I don't want to get into detail because, frankly, I don't know any of the details.

they have something in suffolk
i am thinkin of going sometime
but it might take a couple more years to get over the fear

1. the old school one is still played... test match
2. one-day matches
3. a new tournament just started thats like the English premier league.. 3 hours

hmm it depends how many players are playing and how many overs u set up. like if u only play for 10 overs then its gonna finish fast vs. the real match they set up to 50 overs which takes forever.

G'night everyone, I just wrote a cheesy essay, and I need to go sleep it off.
 
So my computer's been stupid for the last 3 days and the internet explorer keeps error-ing everytime I open it. I have tried everything, even deleting some programs, and I don't really have money to go get it diagnosed or repaired. What should I do? I mean, I can't keep falling behind on this thread by 15 pages at a time! Plus, I need to start finalizing my AMCAS.

use mozilla firefox for amcas

use google chrome for everything else
