Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Bed time for me. Good night everyone.

night yoda - I'm off to bed now too.

But I gota say on what yoda said about med school being not as bad a time as SDNers make it out to be:

I intend to party as much as I can when I'm in medical school. I don't know about you guys; but unwinding is a very important part of my studying routine. If I'm not unwinding at some point; I can't focus on studying.

And it's the classing work hard play hard right?

Course does it mean I'll party 3 times a week? Well - that's just insane; and I'm too old for that anyway 😀

Maybe I'll just party once a week

every week

😀 that's enough of a stretch goal right there! That CEO of GE would be proud

:roflcopter: too good, too good

i'm going to bed. my boxing trainer basically killed me tonight; i can barely type without wincing.

aw, I miss boxing/MMA... too bad we don't have a gym here that is convenient for me to go to... although my orthopod would probably prefer I wait another year before i start that (although he did say I was cleared for contact, so whatever)

In other news, today I set another post-injury PR and it was easy with no pain or discomfort at all 🙂 2 x 8 @ 245, not all that exciting in terms of the amount of weight, I was lifting 100 lb+ more before I got hurt but I was happy, it felt good too 🙂

Just to bring back some painful memories of physics...

I feel the same way. I never liked cardio unless it was sports, which you need people to play with.

You can lift weights for shorter periods of time and not get bored by switching exercises.

You have no idea how much I hate cardio... the funny thing was that my freshman year in HS I ran track... I actually don't mind running sprints, cuz you run liek 10 sec then it's over, it's shorter than a set on bench or whatever... but then you have to practice and whatever and it just sucks.

nice maybe you'll be able to get us motivated! im very honest.. other than the stairs at work and walk to my car i've been a total couch potato 😛

that's basically me right now, minus the stairs

Word.

I love the elliptical, but I hate going to the school gym b/c there's no parking, the ellipticals are always taken, and I'm the only guy on them. But it helps my knee.

lmao, well it's safer than the treadmill!

if i dont start my fin aid today im gonna shoot myself :smack:

you should have a talk with floatie

No kidding, especially with the possibility of flying through volcanic ash in t-minus 1 week becoming more and more likely... :scared:

Being an ex-electrical engineer; this is pure awesome.

Also, I see we are pushing up to 91,000 posts. Wonder if we'll break the 100,000 barrier?

damn, i couldn't resist the urge to attempt a solution at that maze of 1 ohm resistors lol. had to try very hard to stop. "it'll take too long, ibvs, it'll take too long!"

also we get about 6-10k a month so we should reach it in no time.

did anybody see the play on baseball tonight where the guy did a backflip over the catcher(high school I think)?

I think I'll go to bed "early" tonight, 3. For the past couple of weeks, I've been having this tendency to not eat until dinner time. I somehow prefer to nap instead of eat lunch.
