although i really don't think it would be that bad. I think a major issue with multiple people posting at the same time on this thread is that people refresh at different times, respond to different things at different times and there's just a lot of disjointedness

when you're in a chatroom, people are mostly forced to be on the same page since everyone's updated at the same time

I thought it was proven that you do better on tests when you feel better about yourself. For some people, this probably means getting up, getting showered, getting ready.....feeling fresh to take a test. Who wants to take a test with greasy bed head and body odor?

That's what I always figured when I saw fully make-up'ed girls at finals. For me, you would be lucky to see me in anything but jeans and a t-shirt during finals week.
 
Whoooo done. I don't think I did awesome but with an A on the first two tests, I definitely passed the class.

Now to learn logic.

I'm a pretty quick test taker. Plus it was only 35 multiple choice questions.
 
wow i wish our finals were 30 minutes. ours are three hours, but even if you finish early you have to stay in the testing room for at least 1.5 hours. (i think the little old ladies in the registrar are responsible for this rule)

:laugh: ours were 3 hours also but you could leave whenever you were done. i guess that's the difference between having little old ladies and computers

Although, what's the late policy? Maybe if they let people in up until 1.5 hours, they don't want people leaving and telling them what's on it?

i think you can start the exam up until being 30 minutes late, then you're out.

it really just makes no sense at all :laugh:
 
oh and if you get sick during the exam, a little old lady from the registrar escorts you to UHS where you will be sequestered "incommunicado" until you are well enough to finish the test. literally, you cannot communicate with anyone other than a doctor until your final is turned in and done with. so intense.

I think that's pretty nice. If you get sick during an exam here, you have to be willing to forfeit your final completely and to turn it in as it is. Basically, if you feel like you might throw up, you had better throw up there in the classroom. It's ridiculous.

Well, I found out that I was demoted to the regular waiting list at Miami, which stinks. Eh. C'est la vie, I suppose.

boo. i didn't know they had different tiers of WLs. what other schools are potentially still on the WL for/waiting to hear from?
