ODESSA, Texas -- A lot of guys dream about going back to high school and recapturing their athletic glory days. A man who went by the name of Jerry Joseph did it, police say, and now he's in big trouble.
Authorities say the boyish-looking 22-year-old posed as a 16-year-old sophomore phenom to lead the Permian High School basketball team to the state playoffs. He was jailed on fraud charges, and the rabidly competitive West Texas high school that inspired the movie "Friday Night Lights" may have to forfeit its season.

Yeah, the lows get much lower in MN, but its more sunny 👍

which is pretty crazy for such a good football team. not sure how much longer they will be around (stadium issues and all)

I wish I knew I could use season tickets. I just doubt I'll have THAT much free time. 😳

my friends on my choice of med school (location oriented):

"you might want to pick up smoking weed, you are gonna be bored as ****"
"are you gonna get a dog? people love hunting there, right? and cow tipping"
"you are really gonna stand out, i can't imagine it being like the northeast at all"
"i would have visited you in miami. we could have gotten so much ass there"
"at least your post-docs will speak english"
"is tubby smith still there"
"golden gophers??? that's kinda gay"
"can you do your phd elsewhere?"
"are you going to do your residency in miami, because i would visit you there"
"have you seen pictures of women in miami? are you gay?"
"whats the rent like?..$400 a month!!? that's like my monthly telephone bill"

seriously though dude, the twin cities are great.

it's surprising, but minneapolis is the 3rd largest theater market in the us (after new york and chicago).

8:53: Strasburg is still no-hitting the Tides through six, but not after a scare. He received a standing ovation from the Alliance Bank Stadium crowd, and he is likely finished after 79 pitches and six innings. Manager Trent Jewett did speak of stretching him out a little bit, but Drew Storen is up in the Syracuse bullpen. It's probably over for Strasburg. If so, four of his last five outings have been one-hit or no-hit starts. To quote Nyjer Morgan, "Jeee-zusss."
In that inning, Adam Donachie rocked a fly ball about 360 feet to left field, just shy of the warning track. It fell into Chase Lambin's glove for nothing but a long out, the second of the inning. Strasburg recovered by just smoking three pitches by Gathright for his seventh strikeout

Interesting. Although you never know if it's just because they haven't figured him out yet.

I kinda doubt it though, with the stuff he supposedly has.

They are a really good team and the series could go either way, but I like the way that the Blackhawks play on the road and their talent level. They were 3-1 against SJ in the regular season.

I don't really care who wins, but I'm pulling for the Blackhawks and I think they will win.
 
Twin Cities ROCKS!!!! Man, if I had more money, I might be heading to UMN in the Fall instead of UA. But, UA is an awesome program- I'm gonna love it.

Seriously, though...you will have tons of fun in the Twin Cities. They have EVERYTHING. Fantastic and charming.

'10 Flyers only the 7th team to force game 7 after being down 0-3. Only two NHL teams have won after being down 0-3. Who knows? Should be a good game. Maybe this time Boston will be on the other end of a miraculous comeback. :laugh:

a few of us were discussing this actually - the epi before this one seemed to be focused on the adults. This one seemed to focus on the kids - wonder if they are going back and forth w/ each episode? That may actually be an awesome idea..

Yea I like puck and the knocked up chick (well maybe because she's really hot so I'm biased? :laugh: )
