anyone else hate bathrooms that are painted in some weird ass colors like aqua blue or puke green?

The partisan board has amended or watered down the teaching of the civil rights movement, slavery, America's relationship with the U.N. and hundreds of other items.

During the monthslong process, conservatives also have successfully strengthened the requirements on teaching the Judeo-Christian influences of the nation's Founding Fathers and attempted to water down rationale for the separation of church and state. If adopted, the standards will refer to the U.S. government as a "constitutional republic," rather than "democratic," and students will be required to study the decline in the value of the U.S. dollar, including the abandonment of the gold standard.

Now I need to choose a high paying specialty in case I have kids. I'll need cash to afford to send them to actual schools.
 
i would never pay for my kids private schooling. even if i live in the thick of the ghetto, they better learn to enjoy public school
 
lots of public schools* are as good or better than private schools






* in rich communities
 
I've only gone to privates. What a waste of $ (minus the friends I've had since pre-school). I didn't see any advantage and the schools have made me much less religious. Backfire?

it's interesting that the rest of the world continues to copy our university system and business structures, yet nobody wants to copy our government

Issues are too complicated, too much money is flowing around, and people are too busy for most to make truly informed decisions. Some of the crap politicians spew is just ridiculous, yet many buy it up :/
