Man, I am tired. This World Cup has been awesome so far, but it is really taking a lot out of me. I guess I'll have to get used to the whole waking up early thing eventually (meaning really soon).

I think I'll keep picking up free TVs until (at least) after residency. My last two have been ridiculously heavy tube TVs...my current one is roughly 10-12 years old and weighs about 140 lbs. By the time this one burns out, I bet people will be giving away "old" LCD models. 😎

Its pretty far from me, but I wish i would've known earlier too.....my guy is always up for a road trip, especially back to his resident stomping grounds.

Samsung are pretty good but most people on TV forums say that Panasonic is the clear winner when it comes to plasma. If that is your price range (~1000) I would suggest the S2 in 50" or the G25 series in 42" or 46". Don't get the U2 because it says its 1080p but actually only displays 900 lines on the screen; it also has a really reflective coating that the S2 gets rid of. The G series is supposed to have a little bit better picture than the S2, but it was hard to tell when I looked in the store. It does have internet though, so you can stream netflix, youtube, etc. That's not a huge deal to me as I'm going to get a blu-ray that does that (probably this one).

If you have a Frys near you, they have a killer deal on the 50" right now: http://www.frys-electronics-ads.com...TC-P50S2-50-Class-Viera-S2-Series-Plasma-HDTV. That is beyond my price range or I'd be all over it.

hmm maybe not since you'll be in virginia. it seems to me like if you dont have dc plates and the proper parking zone sticker, you can park on the streets for 2 or 3 hours depending on the area during the weekdays and however long you want after 830pm and on weekends. so unless you plan on parking in the city for long stretches of time m-f you should be good! i'm a bit confused about the whole thing though so i could be wrong😛
 
if you are in alrington, you aren't as pressed about the plates. but i heard they do start bitching after a while though

Yeah they do, but all I got were "warning" tickets that never led to anything and didn't cost anything.


But I would never recommend that anyone else break the law😉
 
Work tomorrow. Every day I am off feels like a weekend and each day back at work feels like Monday. I want to quit this job so bad and enjoy my last summer, but I need the money.

Well; to be fair - I think the unofficial rule is the half+7 rule is relaxed from a woman's perspective. For a guy it's half + 7 = baller / cradle robber. But for cougars, I think just a few years younger starts to work. Real cougars come out with a delta > 4 or 5 years.

I liked the location, comfortable atmosphere and the track programs. I wasn't so into the other locations I visited outside of my local schools. Plus they gave me a nice scholarship which made costs comparable to going to LSU.

And LOL @ the cougar quote. :laugh:

ahh I usually eat better than that but I had to go to the food place on campus which is ridic overpriced and try to balance between cheapness of the pb&j sandwich and the deliciousness of the sweet potato fries 😀

yep I am...not for 27 years (2.5 so far). my bf is a die hard carnivore and teases me incessantly. I just ask him if he can hear the piggies scream when he eats bbq. apparently he does!:laugh:
