Welcome to our club, FML. Only the coolest and the most badass kids become part of the Class of 2014. Do you fit the criteria?

The 10+ thing was put up there yesterday. As far as I know the admins are setting everything back to the way it was. Maybe it'll take some time though :shrug:

Hives are worse today... this is so not fun! 🙁

and I'm all day studying for a biochem test tomo 😡 which I haven't actually started studying for because I just had a neurobiology test today!

bah and I need to start studying again for the mcat

so much studying!!

Yup, midterm season is here. That and research is slowly killing me right now.🙁
 
it's so bittersweet studying for an exam on EKG during undergrad... when there's no telling how long it will be until i can actually use this knowledge 😡 i'm so impatient right now hah
 
Our spring break was last week.🙁
I can't wait for the summer break, although the application process is looming like a storm cloud, it's still tons better than school.

Hey, I wanted to get some opinions. I'm trying to personalize my personal statement by including more details. I want to use the name of the doc that I observed, but I don't know if that will be an invasion of privacy. Should I just refer to him in my P.S. as Dr. Z? Or by his real name?

Um, I don't think using his real name would be a huge problem. I mean there's probably quite a few Dr. _____'s in the world, so it's not really that revealing.

What if your doctor's name is Dr. Rumpelstilskin?
 
Yeah, I guess it's not really a big deal. The adcoms are going to know who it is when I list the names of the docs I've shadowed anyway. Or I could try to make all the docs in my application anonymous. I think that'd be overdoing it though. Now I'm thinking about this too much. I'm just going to put his whole last name.
 
I would just write out the last name. It is unlikely that they know the individual, and if they do...still shouldn't be an issue.

Anyway...pretty quiet on this thread. Is everyone alive, or being eaten by schoolwork?
 
still alive. feels like im a mouse being chased around by mkitty. hopefully it will end up like tom and jerry where jerry gets the last laugh =)
