Hi guys. I'm applying this year, but I figured I would wait to post until after took my MCAT to make sure that I was really going to apply this year.

Have any of you guys received interviews yet? I'm feeling like I might be a little behind, because I'm going to submit my AMCAS on Wed. But I guess we just do what we can...

i think theres only been one of us on here who got an interview already. invites should be rolling in starting in august.

you should be fine submitting now. just make sure to draft up some secondary essays

Finding the charming guys seems to be my problem. This summer has been highly unsuccessful. A guy who flat out told me that he just wanted sex, a guy who just got out of a year long relationship with my friend, a guy who keeps doing the "let's do date-like things, but pretend it's not a date" thing. How do I end up getting asked out by such winners? What made me so lucky? 🙄

It shouldn't take too long, I'm only applying to ~15 schools (and that depends on the MCAT results), so I think 30 days is plenty of time to get those essays done.

yea i agree with 30 days for 15 schools. i submitted 6/11, went under review 6/17, verified 7/7, and have already finished 11 secondaries. problem is, i have another 7 to go, 5 to get from screening, and 16 yet to hear from
