Actually, I've never made sushi before in my life, and haven't eaten much of it, either.

By the way, ksmi, Alton Brown was doing a show about the crawfish on "Good Eats" tonight - it was pretty informative, especially for the non-southerners.

I used to love Good Eats. They haven't been putting out any new episodes lately have they?

I think he's really entertaining on Good Eats, but outside that show he does get annoying

For me, most sushi looks better than it tastes.
We have this hybrid-sushi restaurant where I live, and they have this cool roll. It's shrimp w/ a little crab and rice, all wrapped in hash browns basted with honey. Totally weird, but amazing.
I'm not even a huge sushi fan, and it's good - probably better for non-sushi people like me.

Ok seriously guys, I've been trying to cut out the eating due to cravings and not hunger, and y'all are making this sooo hard. But what doesn't kill us makes us stronger, right?

That guy is great on good eats. I love hearing the science behind food preparation. I would be all over that show if I still had cable.

Yeah, I could agree with that. I do like him on Iron Chef though.

I can't stand him at all on Iron Chef, I hate it when he's on that next food network star challenge, and he's also annoying when they have those chef get togethers... I think one of the chefs even asked not to be partnered up with him :laugh:

oh man in n out...i had that for lunch today. I try not to eat it too much but i cant help it sometimes. seriously like best hamburgers ever. I think it only exists in like AZ and CA, if you guys come out here you gotta get it! 🙂

lol dude non cali peeps arent going to know the goodness that is in n out. I remember like going there in HS and getting a 4x4 ahah i probably cut afew year s off my life thats for sure.
 
That looks kind of nasty to me. I think the last time I had fast food (not counting pizza) was like 5 or 6 years ago.
 
Weird thing is, I've actually heard of it.
Looks good, though. I like Rally's and Checker's burgers and especially the fries, but they have none in Baton Rouge. I think it's a southeastern thing. But they have JackinuhBox, though.

noooooo u dont understand. Its not like going to mcdonalds or other trash fast food, its sooooo damn good, you have to taste it to understand! I dont know what they put on these things but its one of the best burgers ive had period better then any restaurant or place ive been to.
