Well, I have to take Biochem and some molecular/physio Bio class for degree. So that has to have a grade.

My other classes are probably a Dinosaurs/Extinction class and an Evolution class with a really cool professor I took last year. Both for P/F.

Yup. I've been putting those off for a while. I get to choose the molecular/physio class, but there are slim pickings this time.

I'm choosing between Endocrin, Comparative Animal Phys, and some other classes that I'm not sure I'll like or can even get into due to prereqs.

It's also difficult because I want Friday off next semester, and in general I just want a good schedule for me - since it's my last one.

I'm just picky. :laugh:
 
but regardless, it should be a very stress-free semester right? You're already in, so you just need to pass.:laugh:

a while. i think the committee had just met when I went, and allegedly they are not meeting again til the end of November. My MCW interview is 11/6 and I will probably hear back from them before UIC!

I did interview in Chicago. Although to be honest I was thinking a lot about it, and if I were to go there, I might check out Rockford too. I know everyone loves Chicago but I am kind of sick of it. Rockford is super cheap and everyone keeps saying how happy their students are. I wouldn't rule it out, anyway.
 
i got an invite from UIC while back but am waiting for their MST Program to decide but what are the differences between the campuses? are they different schools or one huge school? feels like there are a crap load of students at this school

it's one huge school with 4 different campuses...everyone's degree will say University of Illinois according to what they told us. most students go to chicago (175) and about 125 or more are spread out at the other 3 campuses. They have two md/phd programs one is in chicago and the other is in urbana. biomedical phds are usually at chicago although I have a friend at the urbana campuses who is doing md/phd w/ a biomedical focus

two punches. both were sucker punches. i was chillin outside (there was a big fight inside at the party, but me and this other dude decided to stay out of it). and then one group of guys gets pushed out to go home and stop fighting. and on the way out, the biggest dude just had the urge to punch me once. i took it and was like "dam, that wasn't needed" and then he did it again. dude was massive, so i was just glad i took em and didn't fall to the ground.

not to mention i have an interview on tuesday...one side of my face is swollen, lip is swollen, and i have a little bit of a black eye. this will be interesting.

i just changed my ipod battery. took like a minute. cant believe apply charges over $100 for this. i wonder if thats what people say about elective surgeons

It's real easy. I had an "ipod repair business" a couple years ago. It was fun, but I didn't make any money.

The business model was:
-buy broken iPods on ebay along with spare parts.
-fix the iPods
-sell them back on ebay

the fixing part took wayyy too long (troubleshooting the problem, and reformatting hard drives were the worst parts) and the spare parts were too expensive to make it a good business.

So I managed to punch myself in the face before an interview last week at the airport when my bookbag zipper broke.
