I am indeed the one with the goggles that garner much envy.
Yea I haven't done one of those MDapplicant thingys but here are the schools I am applying to:
Duke (apparently the love of my life....oh I have a feeling I am going to be crushed come March)
Johns Hopkins (definite reach but my MD mentor who is an alum seems to think I'd do well there)
Emory (my undergrad)
Wake Forest (haven't heard nada)
Tulane (only completion email so far 🙁 )
MCG (Interviewing there on Wed)
Mercer (Interviewing there next week)
St Louis University (Interviewing there the week after that)
Morehouse (already interviewed 10/2...really nice student tour guide!)

I want to stay in South East....so I am kind of limited in my choices but I think I have some good ones in there.
My cycle is going well, I think, would be better if I knew the meaning of the word "patience".
If you guys want to know my stats....they aren't anything impressive but I do get a lot of raised eyebrows for my strong background in Comp Lit considering I spoke no English 10 years ago.
We shall see how it all pans out...maybe I will be a Blue Devil after all.

No no no no no. It was the night before, so I could relax and sleep. I had two beers in like half an hour. I would never even think of experimenting with something so important the day of.

Time to go watch planet earth. These are the only times I wish I had HD. SD planet earth is so blah, but it'll have to do for tonight.

ehhh the tourguide wasn't the one that sold it....it was my med student host, and my actual interview experience with Dr. Bradford and the 3rd year med student.

i liked the interview with one of my interviewers (the beta, faculty). he was really hard on some other interviewers though, but i really liked his blunt/confrontational attitude a lot

the students were really tired that day and the 3rd year med student interviewer was cool

hahah ok. i'm not doing very well in the acceptance, interviews, or post-count races so maybe it'll make me feel better if i'm at least not last in this ranking😛
