Check your edit options, and look at your setting for daylight savings time acceptance...my guess is your second one was set in a way that it did not adjust your central time zone time stamp with the roll back to standard time this morning. In other words, the option for recognizing changes to daylight savings time (your 'DST settings') must have been turned off, thus relative to GMT your SDN clock did not move.

I need to double check (edit: oops, it is $35k now - ouch). It is the highest of the 3 instate public med schools, and it is towards the high end of the range for instate publics around the country. Va Tech will have the highest instate tuition ($40k+?) but it is technically a private school.

Having said that, in the past, I know that the instaters at UVA have gotten a scholarship (used to be around $13k) and then get an alumni group loan at a low interest rate, in addition to taking out the subsidized federal loan amount. So the sting is minimized for instaters in that they don't have to take out any high interest rate private loans to pay for tuition and fees, but I assume they still may need to borrow more to pay for the other costs of living, etc.

The bottom line for me, even as an instater, is that the COA at UVA does not represent a huge savings over many private schools, and I have interviewed at several that I am very interested in, and I intend to keep all my options open until I see the finaid offers (assuming I have more than the one acceptance I now hold).

Why are you upgrading? I'd let them sort the bugs out first. Plus, never upgrade an operating system, always, ALWAYS do a clean install.

She needs big men in the biggest way though, look at who she has on roster. I need guards, on the other hand, so I'm willing to part with Duncan. OJ Mayo's gonna be a beast this year too. We can negotiate further, and work out something mutually beneficial.

Exactly.

The only reason I bring it up is that I think the top-ranked teams don't really look all that great right now except Texas.

But what do I know? I like Virginia Tech and they have just fallen apart...

Today was the most boring day in the ER ever. The only thing I saw was the start of shingles. That's it. Nothing else. Lame.

I have to start writing papers....
 
Fantasy football makes me insane. It seems like I play the guy who scores the most points every single game. My team routinely puts up 120+ and loses. The last 2 games I have lost to a guy who was projected at 60 points and ended up scoring like 110, while my team that's supposed to score 110 scores 70. So random.

this is my last year doing fantasy. it dilutes my watching experience.

I have had an absurd amount of candy today. I'm bouncing off the walls.

I also heard a random conversation earlier... I was walking down the street and these people were having a conversation with each other across the street. One girl yells "Did he ever find his laptop?" and the guy across the street replies "yep! In the fridge!" lol. So. Random.
