Yeah, you'll be fine.

However, from personal experience two years ago...the seniors who got into med school basically stopped helping run the student group I was in...and that left me and one other non-senior to basically do everything. So..don't do that. /end bitter rant.
 
okay, I'm gonna be totally honest... I kind of feel for the guy who made the USMLE thread. yeah, he's a bit of a douche for making the thread and advertising his super nerdiness...

But a part of me planned on reading some anatomy before med school while chilling too (I'm gonna be travelling and have lots of downtime)... I don't totally blame him for thinking ahead... but epic fail on falling into the depths of the sar-chasm.

Edit: I am on hold at Loyola... called for the Thursday status check after not hearing anything for 2 months since the secondary was sent in, and I'm in fact complete, but flagged for re-review anytime from JANUARY TO APRIL 😱

at least they let you ask the question...a week ago I called a school and they wouldn't let me finish the sentence before the receptionist said "thaaaaaats nice, were a realllllly competitive school........"
I was like no duh! I do my research!

Me, too. But I'd been complete for forever already. I'm basically giving up on that.

Geeze... so far, I haven't had any encounters like that... seriously tho, that's just annoying that a school feels entitled to belittle you in return for the 100 fat ones you dropped on em for a 10% chance at an interview. 👎

I don't really hold it against the school so much as against the person that I spoke too...it's obvious she never had the rest of her life depend on a process like this. Anyone who has would be kinder.

thats medicine in general. i have 2 physician parents. imagine my life growing up. its the cons of academia. there will always be one of those people that will put full effort into debating something meaningless


thats why i'm going to marry a non-physician, or multiple women, or none at all.
 
funny thing is, most of the people involved in those debates are like sophs or juniors in college

Yes... it was total trash. But I couldn't turn off the tv. Several 2 am's freshman year where I remember watching this show. This is probably why I wasn't making the grades lol.
