and the other guy, i think he just had one of those bad days - maybe a frustrating time with his/her PI (i am going through one of those now). I can understand all the different things being hard to juggle, he probably was up late at night and decided to write a little something something to get his frustrations out

one thing that I def got out of both interviews were that PBL is no easy way out. I feel like it would be a lot of studying for me (cuz I would just skip lecture and not feel guilty), and its not a bad thing at allll

Oh, well despite my bio major, I'm actually pretty interested in the social aspects of medicine (and humanities in general), so I like FCM. There are times when it feels a bit contrived, but I think that might be partly due to a semi-rigid structure (which we could change at will, if we were willing and so-motivated) and a reluctance of other members in the group to admit that they're even vaguely interested in something academic other than science.

...but every group is different. Did you sit in on my IQ group? If you heard a reference to a broken foot and a ginormous bill, that was me.
