I had to fly a bunch over the summer and somehow I always end up seated next to a mother with a newborn that will cry at any and no provocation at all. That is how I discovered that a Jack n' Coke or two is realllllly good at making you not care about any sort of loud and siren like disturbance :laugh::laugh::laugh:

:laugh: that's about all you can do. Even iPods have trouble defeating the screeches of babies.

I never did either; at all of my interviews I kept vowing to try it on the way back, but I never did for whatever reason.

Frustrating, he was still actually on someone's team in the fantasy league.

I guess the Sixers needed to do something. I'm not so sure he's really the answer, though; Iguodala is clearly the better player at this point, while Iverson still wants to be the man (also, I guess "AI" has to be retired for a little bit). And NOW how is Elton Brand going to do anything at all?

Classic team of talented players that don't actually fit together at all.

believe it or not their ticket prices went up. the attendance is usually at 2nd lowest in the league. and you can get tix for 10 dollars and move up to like the first five rows (i did that for march madness as well, but that was packed)
 
lol iverson doesnt fit in with our offense at all but i idont think thats the concern. i was totally down for a 1 year deal w/ the sixers (not 2) and no deal with the knicks (cuz they would do something dumb like resign him)

i think he may until Lou comes back. Andre is one of the most efficient players in the NBA. he doesn't need touches to get hot. and AI can set up Brand, he's not a ballhog

iversons assists numbers are high but so are his shots. the word was that most of the players didn't actually want AI back on the team since its gonna take touches away and they are all still developing/playing for better contracts.

signing elton brand was the downfall of the organization though. they thought they could compete with the celts if they got him. should have waited for dwyane
 
still mad exciting to see him back. i'm thinknig of getting front row tix against the cavaliers (its only a 100 here)
 
our playoff games havent sold out, even when we were up on the pistons and tied with the celts or whatever

eagles and phillies always sellout, and then the flyers are pretty popular. sixers havent been the same since AI left

knicks front row still go for a grand or two

Yeah, but if you watch him, he dominates the ball and after he gets doubled he'll pass to the open guy who takes a jumper, and I guess 6-7 of those go in per game. Doesn't really fit with Brand's back-to-the-basket game.

I don't think you can really blame the Sixers for getting Brand, though; nobody knew he'd be so diminished coming back from that injury 2 years ago. Everyone thought it was a great move at the time.

they wont sell out though. but i think they will sell like 3-4k more

the mezz end (10 dollar tix) are sold out for denver (courtside and risers and everything else are still available though)
