sorry to bust the cheesy/greasy debate (now my stomach is churning)...but I met a girl with a good gpa today who applied to a bajillion schools and got into one, and off a waitlist from another. now i'm scared...🙁

I met a Dr my freshman year who had killer ECs (probably 1000 volunteer hours), like a 39 or 40 MCAT and a great GPA. Applied to 5 schools, waitlisted at all, and ultimately only accepted by one. Made me feel inadequate, to say the least.

Let's not talk about such things. 🙁

Just trying to prove to the world I'm not an idiot. . .

So performance is all relative. Don't they give you guys a couple day to take the MCAT there and allow internet access during the exam?

Hey!

There are a lot of variables you would need to consider before you can answer this question, such as your GPA, MCAT, and EC's.

You would then need to determine how competitive you are at those programs. Once you've done that set up an acceptable percentage for you. But remember matriculated percentages are lower than accepted percentages.

i've also decided to apply through AMCAS but only a few reachable school though. my question is...in the course work, where does biochem fall under? what about nutrition, and a health class

my mood today is 🙁. hope good news will come tomorrow.

That's a bummer, man. I wouldn't sweat it that much though. Ummmm... I'm going to guess you're going to need to log that one under chem. That would be sweet if you could stack it under nutrition though.
