Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quick post on some of the FB Rules.

If anyone disagrees with any of these rules speak now or forever hold your peace.

Current members are grandfathered in, but are not immune from option 4.

We are planning on enforcing these fairly strictly in order to protect the anonymity of the members.

1. You must be a 2014er
2. You must have posted 100+ times in the c/o 2014 thread
3. There must be a unanimous vote of at least 3 members of the current 2014ers in the group (omitting grandfathered in 2013 members, who have no vote). Vote will take place in the group.
4. 6 current 2014 members must vote unanimously to have someone removed.


These will go into effect from here on out, unless someone has something to add or doesn't like some of the rules as they are stated.

Yeah, I think there should be. I'm not sure how we should work that though. I'm thinking there should be about 5 of us that have the ability to add and remove. That way we can make sure someone is always around to do it and we don't have too many people who can just slip someone in once the group gets a bit larger.

Hey, wait - I'm already in the Facebook group. Don't remove me, I'm sorry I'm not as cool as all you other people who have ****eloads of posts, I'm just busy or don't have much to say... I like being in the group, it makes me feel special.

We'll have to all come up with a number of admins at any time (I'm thinking 5 or 6 should do it) and then figure out who is in the thread the most (not hard to do) and give them admin abilities. That way the people who are regularly here posting have the ability to add and remove when the group votes. This will help to keep things up to date on the FB page.

Learn to read. 😛 No one who is in it now will be removed for not meeting the reqs. Besides, I need my LSU buddy there.

Hey everyone, I am also applying this year and want to join the group. Did you finalize your PS yet? I am in the process of doing it. I am putting a lot of time but I still feel like it is not good enough. Also, do you know if I can send the transcript before I even apply? Thanks!

My PS is finalized. I have one more reviewer lined up to read it. We're going to print each other's AMCAS and read the whole thing to look for errors. You can send your transcript now, and AMCAS will aknowledge that they have it, but they won't make your application official until after you click submit on/after June 2nd.

I don't know how people do this. All-nighters make me go nuts :scared:. I need at least a 2-3 hour nap, and even then I fall asleep the whole next day. Good Luck!!

Yeah, I've never done an all-nighter before either. I think I'd fall asleep midtest.

i did that for my history final coz i just didnt feel like studying for it in the 2 weeks i had prior to it..
it worked out great

I have never been able to pull an all nighter. I just end up falling asleep. I am pretty good with most forms of self control, but sleep is the area I always fail...

yeah, the brush I have doesn't work very well. I should get another one, but I feel like that should ultimately be my roommate's responsibility since it's his girlfriend's cat.
 
ok, well make the girlfriend get a brush. so much faster than vacuuming.
