Protip: Think of an interesting fact about you that isn't on the application so Mr. Essman and Dr. Mehta will _really_ remember you. (They really remember this stuff. It's sort of (completely) amazing.)

lol yah i know. In her presentation and afterwards talking to us she told us of this one kid who was a magician another who was a pro juggler...all sorts of odd applicants she remembers. Though she was quick to point out that while she remembered them, they werent accepted :laugh::laugh:. I think my app in itself is probably fairly easy to remember and will stand out compared to most applications they have seen. Mr Essman was there too at the presentation he seemed cool. Really laid back and nice. I wanted to talk to him more but this one kid kept butting in over and over with questions...😡. It was kinda funny how dr mehta sorta kept driving home the point that they are looking for NORMAL applicants. She must have said that like 10 times...what type of freaks are applying to med school that all the sudden a huge important trait is you are normal and can hold a conversation...ahahha

Im scared of my future classmates-_-.....

Hmmmm... type... that's a hard one. I won't be able to publish for a long time yet, I fear. I've got a few zillion kinks to work out just on the art side.:laugh: Digital inking and I just don't get along. My temptation is just to outline every thing, but a) that just looks bad and b) that just looks bad. Gotta get over these self-imposed barriers one of these days.:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Turned in my transcript request form. Same day processing should arrive in Washington by tomorrow. Cost $37. 🙁

It costs money to request a transcript?!?!?!?!? At my school, I can request to have up to two per day sent anywhere in the US for free.

my school does it for FREE!! but i attended ODU last summer and they charge $5 so thats the only thing i had to pay to send transcript to AMCAS

Yep, me too on this one. I know I sent about 6 or 7 out in December/January and never got charged.

So I printed my application, and I notice that all the medical schools that I am applying to is listed. Also, all my letter writer names are printed as well.
Schools don't actually get to see these right?
 
So who else is super stoked for the return of the Sidney Crosby-led Pittsburgh Penguins to the Stanley Cup finals?
 
On a more serious note, I have completed my Personal Statement, to the point where I feel good about it. Handed it over to a few people to read over.

Just gotta get that back, and also pick schools. Kind of a fun process, in a way.

He's so fun to watch. I'm a Caps fan though (mildly) b/c it's the only hockey team I've ever seen play. I saw them when they sucked though. 🙁

I'd try anything with hops and barley. If that doesn't work, go with barley and hops. If neither of those work, you're a girl and try hefeweizen (dont' get me wrong, I do like hefeweizen).
