jefferson, drexel, temple come to mind.. but maybe you don't like philly?
 
Well, ksmi, I am going to Washington and Moo State. I would love to go to Bama and Ole Piss, but it'll be too expensive and too difficult to find people to go with since everyone can only request one ticket. None of my friends are as hardcore fan as me.

BTW, what is with all of the LSU hate here? Is it just because of me and ksmi's passion for our school, or just because it's fun and easy to gang up on the southerners? Where's MDMan, maybe he could help (even though he goes to Tech, so probably doesn't like LSU that much anyway)
 
you seem to be applying to a lot of OOS schools that aren't too friendly.

So if you can only request one ticket does that mean you can't sit next to who you want? Or can you pick them up together and get seats next to each other. Obviously, I don't understand the whole student ticket thing.

Oh and I just checked my priority points, and I didn't get any for any of the football games!! Of course my ID wasn't scanned, I'm in the band. Last year we got them. I sent a not happy email to the ticket office.

You sit next to who you want if you pick them up together. You just have to get people to free time to go, are willing to pay the money, and all have enough priority points to get the ticket. The Bama game is going to be the most highly requested road game in history, it'll be a tough ticket.
My roommate was in band 2 years ago and got points...
Well your decision will be a lot easier if you don't have any points.
Did you go to any point events beside the Peach Bowl? For the high demand games you always have to have more points than just going to all of the home games.
 
lol cant believe i got top accidentally..yay =)

I was going by the MSAR book, by the range of their mcat scores and how many OOS applicants they interviewed...

with a 26P and 3.5 I barely have much of a shot but I just want to make sure that I am not missing out on any schools that I may have a small chance at..

which ones would you advise against?

i will add drexel..temple and jefferson to my list and maybe cut out some midwest ones..

I went to the Auburn game and a few of the other point games. Last year they gave everyone in the band points for all the away games though since random people go to random ones.
 
Just got back from the Magic game... it was sick! Courtney Lee dunking on fools
 
An old fraternity brother of mine works security at the games. I had lower bowl seats for 100 bucks a pop. Worth it.

dude.....so jealous!!! Id love to have some tickets to the staples center, too bad they are insanely priced. Id have to sell my computer and xbox for 1 ticket or something lol.

I hear you on that one. Kobe is amazing.. I enjoyed watching him way more than Lebron. Glad magic could actually finish tonight. we'll see what happens

Don't act like they're not going to win the series, though.
I'm not a fan of series where the home team never loses. It can be a 7 game series, but still boring. Case in point Miami v Atlanta this year. I know both won on the road, but I have never seen a less exciting 7 game series.

Yeah, I say Lakers in 6. I thought Games 2 and 3 were pretty close and fun to watch.
