Class of 2014!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I guess both.

Well, maybe the first one would be easier for you if you had more of the second...

My brother loves them thick though. And I mean real thick! His ex-gf was about 300 lbs. No joke. Huuuuuge.

To each his own, I suppose.

So true. We don't need to take someone out to dive on the grenade anymore. We just take my brother and he'll gladly grab the grenade before the pin is even pulled... Guess it works.

No way man. I like it thick in the you know where. Not the whole goddamn body. I like the body slim and feathery.

sounds good..i will take of san juan and add the other few.

It must be at least 15 or 20 pages back by now, because ksmi keeps filling this place up with :spam:

That's what I do.

I can't get myself motivated to seriously start working on secondaries. I'm attempting to do Tulane's right now. I even put on my Tulane sweatshirt in hopes that it has some sort of magical powers or something. 😳

Ugh. Tulane just emailed me and was all like we don't accept AP credit. I asked what their policy was (like weeks ago), hoping that they'd go a little bit more in depth than that. Like maybe mention upper level stuff. I've taken plenty of upper level chemistry stuff, but seriously, I have to take general chem? I only used one semester of my credit. I got a 14 on PS for crying out loud and I have a 4.0. It'd be a waste of everyone's time for me to take general chemistry. Stupid. Oh well, I emailed them back and asked if upper level stuff would work, so hopefully they'll answer soonish. It really bothers me that some schools don't have AP stuff up on their websites. It's a common enough question.

getting better although there are cops and courts involved...

dude
i didnt say this earlier.. and im nt exactly soo good to brag about it but whatever, nobody knows me here 😛
i won 1st place in women's beginner forms in a local martial arts competition
😀😀😀😀😀

Congrats!

I am skipping all of your previous pages. I NEED THEM NOT.

Run away while you can.

He does... He's looking for a hot chick! 😛

Wow.

Sucks about Tulane though, btw.

I'm pretty sure I know of someone who used AP credit and took upper level stuff and got in and that was fine. I just wish they could answer my question more thoroughly. And not take another 3 weeks before emailing me back. Maybe I should just call. Bleh, hate the phone.

Ugh. So Tulane's admissions office is closed already. Who closes at 4? And then I called my premed committee letter people to see if I could find out whenish my letter would be done, and they said "we usually don't tell people that." Usually? Either you do or you don't. Like if you can't tell me, fine, I can't really do anything about it, but if I can't find out just say that. I hate when people think that saying something like that is better than just saying no.

why are you afraid of muscles? 😛

i'll tell you who-- social security field offices. i NEED to get a copy of one of my client's SSD award letters by friday, so i need it faxed... but no one's in the damn office to fax it to me. 😡

yeah, i wish my committee letter were done already. i mean, i graduated last year and did my committee interview in freakin' february and provided them with as much stuff as possible to make writing the letter simple... and yet it's still not done. wouldn't it make sense to do mine early so as to leave the early summer for those who are still students there and need the extra semester of grades and ECs to talk about? jeez. 🙄

what about tulane?

Apparently Tulane says that Ksmi is underqualified...

:hello:

i kid, i kid. i'm like 2 feet tall and pure muscle. i don't think there's anything "ethereal" about me

Nice! That could be fun... 😛

I'm just guessing, but saying they DON'T take AP credits seems pretty straightforward. Sometimes they just say that and if you apply they'll take you anyway. 😉

okay, so maybe i'm actually about 5' tall. but still muscly!

😱 Even better! 😉 😉

That's ridiculous!

on the bright side I dont think you really wanted tulane anyways right? Like its probably your last choice? I cant imagine most of the other schools wouldnt take you anyways 🙂

I just think it's a dumb rule in practice. I did take other chemistry classes and did well in them. Taking the class (even as a freshman) is a complete waste of time. I learned all the stuff already. It was bad enough to sit through the second semester. I took that one because I knew some schools freaked out about that kind of stuff. And I've had schools just answer "we don't take AP credits" and then if you specify that you have taken upper level stuff, they'll be like "yeah, that satisfies the requirement." So I just need to get a straight answer from them.

Really it's just a rule to keep the riffraff out. I guarantee you that if you apply you'll not only get an interview but you'll also, assuming you don't have gas and drool nonstop, and acceptance.

yah i agree. Its like if you got As in ochem...it probably is reasonable to believe that you would do well in gchem, especially with your 4.0. But, like everything else in this process we have to be unclear about everything and no matter what stupid rule they make up we have to follow 🙁

hahah even with that, i still kissme would get a majority of acceptances. She would at least be a memorable applicant! 🙂

So I went up to school today and had to get one of my organizations' advisors to sign something. Well, he wrote one of my letters (he taught me in the honors college). Well, we got to talking about med schools and I rattled off my list and he was like "you'll get into most of those schools." And I was all like being me, "nah, I mean it's not just numbers... blah blah." So after going back and forth, we made a bet. He said that I'd get into half or more of the schools. The loser has to buy the winner lunch. I could so purposely win this bet. I don't plan on it, but I could. Like if I get into a school I absolutely love early on, I could just not even interview other places. But I still wanna see them all.

You should still see them all! If I have the money i want to go on near every interview i can (assuming i even get one :scared: ). Who knows how you will like a school until you have been there. Maybe youll go to JHU (id assume that or harvard is your top choice) and find out that you think it sucks compared to vandy or something 🙂

Not if she has egg gas...

No one says riffraff anymore. Gotta get hip to the times, old man. 😛

Ha ha. I said that one just for you, youngin. I wanted to bring back memories of yesterday when you were running around on the playground and the teachers discussed all the local riffraff, while you absentmindedly played with your barbies in the sandbox...

uh oh... this does not bode well for me on the interview trail! i assumed doctors of all people would understand bodily (mal)functions...:scared:

Hmmm, Beano! I was wondering how you were still single with that rock hard body you were boasting...

You need to get as many as you can and wait for the financial aid packages.

This is a very strong possibility. I wouldn't even waste my time with JHU, because they are prick factory. Vandy on the other hand is awesome, not to mention the local feminine scenery. 😀

Trust me. That's exactly what I'm looking for in a school. And for the record, I'd say my top choices in alphabetical are: Baylor, JHU, Penn, and Vandy. But who knows how I'll feel if I actually get to interview at these schools?

Well, I guess you would have to be a female to want JHU, because by all accounts the only thing you find there are a bunch of d!cks.

If I had the greatest stats out there and could choose any school I wanted I wouldn't go there for the simple fact. They don't realize their **** stinks too, because they spend too much time on their high horse. Not my style.

Im no expert on the south, but when I was there, the local "scenery" was
:barf: :barf: :barf:... I think cali wins hands down on that🙂. Maybe i just dont like scary white girls? ? ? ?

Cali trumps all.👍

I still think WashU wins the pompous contest. But just because a school thinks they are good doesn't mean that they aren't a good school. They are ranked pretty high for reasons. But I really don't think any of us can judge the schools without actually going there and seeing what they have to offer.

You guys are crazy! Southern girls are amazing! Well, it depends on which ones you find. Some come minus a few teeth, but the rest... Man, you must have had your eyes closed, Elijah.

I was actually pretty shocked when I was in San Diego a couple weeks ago at how heavy a lot of the population there was...

But I guess coming from Colorado a lot of areas will seem obese...

True. But I would never give JHU a shot. Actually, WashU is stats wise, but I have not heard too many snobbish tales from students there, where JHU... Completely different story. But to each their own...

sorry kissme blue speaks the truth here!! 😛 If you came here you would understand 🙂

Cali is not the best state. With the highest unemployment rate, expensive cost of living, and a budget deficeit...it is probably the worst. I've been to Cali twice. The weather may be nice but the state as a whole stinks.

I'll keep my southern state of Texas. If we secede, we will thrive. 👍
