is anyone else as sad as i am about the king of pop dying?! man, i grew up with his music...i remember putting a cassette tape into a player with a radio so that as soon as one of his songs came on i could hit record and have it forever to play on my walkman.

yea man. what a sad day. michael made music videos what they are today, not to mention that the music of JT, Usher, Ne-Yo ALL sound exactly like a MJ song.

if jordan passes away, they should just retire that first name.

lukkie is joking...thats just him 😉. Im older then probably everyone in this thread besides oc, and i didnt grow up listening to michael or anything...for me he was just some crazy guy who overdid it with surgery, somehow becomming white, and a pedophile. I think only old man OC would really remember micheal in his hayday before he went crazy.

i grew up spending time in 4 different countries. michael is the only musical act to span the globe, beatles were close, but michaels dance moves and music videos just changed the face of music.

i thought it was pretty good, but then again i love post-apocalyptic type literature. to me it felt like a mix of the movie Road to Perdition and the videogame Fallout 3.
