Well, I work 8:30-6:15 the day before, 8:30-5:30 the day of, and 8:30-5:30 the day after July 4th. And they're some of the crappiest days of the year.
I would rather be in your shoes. At least you can drink while doing that.

I set up a red "Medical School" label in G-mail and applied it to all my secondary e-mails. I then scrolled my mouse up and down really fast to bask in the glory. MLIA.

I don't think a passport photo would copy very well off the passport, but it might be worth a try. It's super easy when you go to kinko's, self serve stations. You can't borrow a digital camera from someone?

I could borrow someones camera, but id rather just use this pic instead of cropping up a new one...its not from my passport book, its the actual photo i used for my passport 🙂. That should be fine right 😕

that would copy better, and yeah i bet that would be fine. as long as it's the right size and what not

it enhances research quality that much i do know 🙂. Probably works for essays too! I always found research more interesting while drinking.

👍 My labels are blue. I set it to filter e-mails with 'AMCAS' anywhere in the title or body and it caught all my secondaries... as well as a bunch of SDN thread notifications, so I filtered those out. I love Gmail. 😍

In other news, I haven't procrastinated this much since I started writing my personal statement a few months ago. These essays should not take as much time as I'm letting them take... any advice on how to punch them out faster?

I work the day after. Not that excited about being up early with a giant hangover, but at least I'm going to be obscenely overpayed to do it.
 
mornin' kids! i'm leaving for my 4th of july roadtrip after work today! a good distraction from having no laptop.

A friend of mine in college had to write a paper for our music history class taught by a brilliant professor who spoke more than five languages (English though was not her best).

So he waited until the night before the paper was due and decided to relax by having a beer. Or ten.

When finished, said paper started out alright: "The historical context of this piece blah, blah, blah."

But somewhere around the third (and final) paragraph it turned into one of the greatest accomplishments of his short-lived academic music career: a three page run-on sentence. 😎

When he got it back it had a question mark on that "paragraph" and a "B" on the front.

I miss that class.

I don't want to do secondaries anymore. Everytime I wake up, there's like 2 or 3 in my inbox.🙁

As it is, just got verified half an hour ago...only to find that AMCAS lowered my overall GPA by .13 -- I took classes abroad THROUGH MY UNDERGRAD but they put them as P/F instead of the grade. FML--as if my GPA couldn't sink any lower 🙁

before it was "I want my secondaries to come in" what happened 😛. Im actually liking how they are coming in. Though ive only gotten 10 so far. Maybe after 30 i will be like fml 🙂
 
I'm not in a hurry to get any secondaries since my pre-professional office has stated that they won't have my Letter of Evaluation done until the end of the month. Dicks.
