Happy Saturday SDNers. After deciding not to fill out Georgetown's secondary, I now have none left in my inbox. I might actually be able to get ahead and write out the ones I have left.

Oh who am I kidding -- I have the complete series of The Shield to watch.

i am seriously becoming very obsessed with desperate housewives. this is a problem.

I just don't really know if I'd be that happy at the school, and the fact that they get the most applications of any school of the country but charge the most of any school for secondaries made me feel like I was just getting fleeced.

Actually, that honor would go to GW. Not Georgetown.

yeah, but at least it's in DC. Albany is $105 and it's in Albany!

Okay, GWU gets 1500 more per year than Georgetown. GT is still one of like seven schools to get over 10,000 applicants a year.

If i didnt have fap id prolly skip gwu, gtown, drexel, bsoton, etc etc...just too many damn apps.

Albany is in upstate New York. Between Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Albany, you have a quartet of four of the most banal and freezing cold cities in the Northeast.

I don't qualify for FAP because they don't adjust for cost-of-living. My parents make decent money, but since we live in the Bay Area, it doesn't count for a damn thing. We're as broke as can be, but I couldn't get any assistance. I just took out a $5000 loan for my primaries, secondaries, and interviews.

ouch...if i didnt have fap id prolly be class of 2000 never 😛. That or id be the stupid kid who applies to like 4 schools btu fails miserably. 🙂

According to my friend from NYC, it's in a pretty skeezy part of Brooklyn. However, it's close enough to cool stuff that if you run really quickly to the subway you can have some fun.

Elijah, we clearly picked schools via different methods. The very first thing I looked at for any school was location. My list of schools features nothing in the Midwest except Michigan, nothing in the South except Vanderbilt, and nothing more than 90 minutes from water except for Penn State. :laugh: I scratched out upstate New York real quick.
