wow, way to all take shots at me in one day - first redrower takes a jab at my age for no reason, then mary tells me she was dating someone else this whole time, then you drop that bombshell ksmi, which you follow up by saying you are casually dating people, just wow :laugh:

Um... I meant that I was casually dating people before you came along, and that I'm semi-glad that I'm not in a relationship with someone who doesn't understand the application stuff. 👍

..average save, and i would drive 30 hours to come over for dinner, but us chem eng interns are headed to a sushi bar, im going to have to use/hide all of this money so it doesnt detract from my eventual aid package 😎
 
oh and ksmi, wake doesnt work for me yet. i guess im not past that checkpoint at this moment 😛

sorry to break up the fun on this thread but i have a quick question for you guys-

so i graduated in may and am working full time this year... i described my job and responsibilities in some detail in the work/activities section of my amcas. but on a lot of the secondaries that im working on (harvard in particular at the moment) they ask you to describe your activities since graduation, or what your plans are for the year. since i already went into quite a bit of detail on my amcas about what im doing this year, do i have to elaborate on the secondaries all over again, or can i just keep it really brief?
 
if you went into sufficient detail on the amcas, no need to. but if you have more to say about it, then by all means. otherwise keep it brief
 
i am a bean connoisseur. my favorites:

pinto > fava > lentil > azuki > kidney > cannellini/black > garbanzo

disagree. sometimes secondaries are repetitive and you have to say stuff you've said on AMCAS. best to just get over that fact and do whatcha gotta do.

YAY!! my transcripts have been recieved my AMCAS.. 1 step closer 🙂
 
does anyone know how to write in a non-fillable pdf...the univ of toledos 2ndary app is a pdf but you cant write in it, handwriting an app is so fail, trying to avoid it.

no idea. I would just print and fill it in. It's not a big deal.
 
well, there are a couple of options. I'm usually fond of just opening it in preview and adding text boxes in the correct spaces, and then re-saving it, or using "print to pdf" to save with the new text. Gets the job done, easy.

If you really want them to be in the precise spaces they have, you have to either get software for that (the full Adobe does it) or go to some websites that let you fill them out. Not sure of the websites, though.

hmm ok thanks!🙂...i guess ill just handwrite, seems like getting it to be perfect would be more trouble then its worth.
