And I do realize about the whole yardage thing, but hopefully we'll recover. Oh, 3rd downs... 🙁

But, btw, don't be surprised to see UW make a bowl game this year. Their record last year was a result of the unanimously hardest schedule in CFB, losing their starting QB and TB, and having a lameduck coach that nobody supported. Now, are they Florida? No. But they shouldn't be that bad this year and should give some good teams (Cal, Oregon, Oregon State) a competitive game.

Sweet! I've lined up an overnight host. She's asking me to e-mail her "the specifics". I kinda already told her the dates. Would there be anything other info that a host would need to know?

Time your flight gets in, if you need a blanket/towel/pillow, time you want to leave in the morning/if you want to go to class with her, time your flight leaves, maybe you could treat her to dinner/coffee?

I've noticed this process constantly makes us overlook obvious, small, but necessary details while concentrating on the big picture. Or vice versa, depends on your state of mind. We are all guilty.

NFL is okay. I like the Steelers, but they've won enough already. I like to see new different teams get to the big stage. That's why I went for the Cardinals last year. Once the Pats one 1 superbowl, I never went for them again in another superbowl. Now I hate them. But I'll always hate the Cowboys and Buccaneers (maybe the Falcons) regardless.

They've won it twice, actually.

See, that's the one thing that sucks about the NFL these days--there's SO MUCH parity that the Super Bowl winners just don't leave any lasting impression. There are so many champions that are just "very good" but not "great," and then they are quickly forgotten.
