It's pretty relaxed. They don't throw any curve balls at you. Just don't make it sound like you have everything prepared. I had to kind of dance around that because they asked really common questions that I already had answers to. I hope I didn't sound too rehearsed.

Great facilities, great hospital in a great town. It's just so cold in the winter though!

ahhh. interview season has officially begun for me. I'm at a student's house at IU. First interview tomorrow.

on a side note, i had so many daydreams on the way over here on the flight. I kept thinking to myself, "Did i really get an invite here? Or did I just make it up? What if I read the e-mail wrong and my interview is another day? Did I forget something?"

it just hit me that years ago i was thinking, "man, it'd be awesome to be a doctor"...and now tomorrow, someone is actually going to interview me to potentially say "we would like you to earn an M.D. from us"

SERIOUSLY?!

haha i kept thinking my interview yesterday was a mistake!! like they seriously could want me to be a part of their class and become a doctor?!

I kept thinking the morning of my interview that I would show up at the admissions office and either be 2 hours late or have the secretary tell me I had the wrong date or that there was no invitation for me. :laugh:
 
back from umass. too tired to have anything coherent to say... but i liked it overall.

No problem. I tried to find a real blue Elmo, but all I got was Cookie Monster. And I hate that drug addict. So w/e, red Elmo will do fine.

I've got a friend that goes there and absolutely loves it. How was your interview?
 
interviews there are mad relaxed, like really nonsensically relaxed. hard to guess performance or whatever but i got along really well with them. i enjoyed the experience. pittsburgh is a weird city, but id fit in

ive seen a lot of med schools/center and i like it second to penn (which i still havnt applied to)

upmc owns like 19 hospitals

i've listen to go that song 5+ times today. I think Alicia absolutely murders the hook and bridge. One of the best choruses I've heard in a looong time. I could care less for the verses by Jay though...that "On to the Next One" though...holy moly. it blows my mind that swizz can come up with a beat like that. phenomenal.


i'm off to sleep..interview day starts at 12:15, but my host is bouncing at 7:40 and is gonna show me where to get food. i gotta spend my day in a suit with nothing to do. lol
