Me too. I read one of them and it was ok. But I mean idk what it was compared to others, but the Assoc. Dean of Students at LSU wrote it about my super involvement on campus, so I guess it wasn't your typical letter. I was honestly worried that one of my math professors would write a mediocre letter because he doesn't like that I put student orgs over research, and he doesn't like that I don't want to go into math. But I suppose it can't have been too bad if I have 10 invites.

Don't be too jealous, at least not of me. It's a real financial strain. I won't complain though. I remind myself that it's a good investment.

EDIT: It's so weird putting faces to names. ... sooooo weird! But Blue will always look like Elmo to me. lol

Well he doesn't have a real picture so it's hard to picture him otherwise, but yeah, bet most of the people don't look like you pictured them.

blue-are you in the group? i think i remember you saying you just have high security so no one can see you...if so you should friend me cuz now i'm curious what you look like after everyone saying you look different than they expected😛

true...but the two schools ive interviewed at so far ensured us that we'd hear back on the 15th.....now if they're lying, ill be so sad

I think I'm rejected from WF as well, though, no news so far.
 
i havent heard from schools in a while. probably wont this week either. but ive been a bit too busy to really think about it

I think they said soon after the 15th. Don't they still do snail mail for decisions? My friends that got in on Oct 15th two years ago got phone calls though. Pretty sure the dean tries to call all the acceptees.
 
yea i think snail mails, i also heard phone calls for acceptees but they didnt want to make a guarantee i guess
