subscribing to threads 4eva. or not. point is, that way you don't have to go search every school you're applying to. just log in, and go to one page, and everything that has an update will be graciously awaiting your return to SDN. Technology at its finest.

i think the icon is of Pop after the decided to intentionally foul Shaq on the first play of the game as a joke. i could be wrong, if im right, thats pretty lame that i would know that though

I'm 90% sure Crabtree will not be a 49er and will not play this year. Honestly, I think it's a win-win situation at this point. The niners will trade him for something good, and he'll get the money he wants.

Anyone else thinking USC might be better than Va Tech?

Also, I continue to refuse to believe Boise State, TCU and Cincinatti deserve to be in the national title conversation. Yes, I understand that the system sucks and that the real teams don't dare put them on the schedule so there's not much they can do... but without seeing them beat those other conferences' top teams, I just can't believe they're THAT good. I'd take X-1 Florida vs. X-1 USC over X-0 BSU vs. X-0 TCU any day.

It's crazy how there's just no way to know anything about the national championship game at this point in the season. I think everyone agrees that UF, UT and Bama are the top 3 teams, but the SEC and Big 12 are so stacked compared to all of the other conferences that the road is going to be so much harder for them. No. 1 plays No. 4 next weekend, and No. 2-4 each have games left against 4 ranked teams, including 2 undefeated teams each, plus an OU team for Texas that is way better than No. 19 (especially if they have Bradford back).

So yeah. I'm excited for the rest of the season 😀

the rookie trade deadline has passed though. he can either sign with the 49ers or sit out a year. if he sits out he cannot work out for other teams. 49ers cannot trade him until THE draft day. so basically, he cant work out for anyone at all before getting re-drafted or traded. im not sure if they will get value out of that. esp since he didnt work out this year either.

Agreed. Boise is not better than USC. The argument that big teams won't schedule them for fear of losing is BS. Yes, that goes on to some degree, but they could get much tougher games than they have (look at Fresno State). Their strategy is obviously play a weak schedule and get to a bowl game by not losing. Honestly, I don't blame them. They know how to exploit the system. Give us playoffs.

I just cut my hair! With layers! And this time I didn't even accidentally go too short!

..and tried on the two shirts I bought today, and I think they'll work with my suit. sweet. (ps i hate that women's blouses rarely button all the way to the top. i'll just have to get over it).

Ha... you guys have more fun with that stuff than guys. For guys, it's pretty much just a question of whether or not we want to go with white or a color for our shirts 🙂

Also, I just get my hair trimmed every couple of months. Nothing fancy at all, though I've always wondered if I could do something more interesting and pull it off...
 
I just lost my week in fantasy football because Pitt's D has given up 2 TDs to Rivers in the 4th quarter. WTH is wrong with them? CLOSE THE DOOR.

The Pac10, as much as I have ripped it in the past, might be better than the Big 12 as a whole this year.
 
i had the giants d which has been great

but since i drafted peyton manning, tony romo (by accident), jay cutler (by accident) and mike vick (not by accident) i have not had to chance to add a kicker. well ive just been really lazy. so i think ive been losing every week

i would much rather having little choice in clothing. besides, i spent forEVER looking for a white and a blue button-down shirt. many stores didn't even have a white button-down that was just ....a shirt. wtf. EVERY men's department has those or solids.

Really? I mean, USC is a contender, Oregon is solid, I guess Cal and Arizona are above average... but that's about it. UT is a favorite to make the title game, OU will be at that level once they get Bradford back (though obviously they're out of the running for practical purposes, they'll make it tough on anyone that has to go through them), OSU and Nebraska are solid, and Kansas and Mizzou could be really good (though we can't tell yet based on their opponents). To me, the Big 12 is just deeper.
 
i dont even bother, i just rock my white shirt. my biggest decision comes in whether or not i go with a baby blue tie or a navy blue tie

Oh really? Well that's dumb. I mean, most girls I talk to say they really get a kick out of figuring out their style, but they shouldn't MAKE you guys be creative if you just want something functional :shrug:
