i just got an email from a ".edu" address and got so excited, but it was just nymc confirming my interview date...which isnt for a month and a half! dont they know better than to send emails other than acceptances/waitlists/rejections on oct 15😛

Lame. Just another reason to not like it.
 
So my parents didn't realize that there was a deposit to hold an acceptance and like freaked about how I'd have to pay $100 to every school I got into. Sigh, I tried to explain that they are refundable, but no, no one listens. 🙄

I'm sure everybody else's are coming, it's still early.

MOST are. I know UPitt says theirs isn't refundable according to the MSAR... but thank god there are only a couple of those schools!

Tulane's isn't, and it's $500. 🙁
 
Vanderbilt doesn't require a deposit. I only remember that because I was there recently.

Do most schools require deposit? Or is it kind of split, some do, some don't?

I'm like out of money here.

trying to finish my research presentation that was supposed to be done 4 weeks ago....my PI said no more procrastination or hes gonna kill me lol 🙁

And KMF i think most schools require some form of deposit, though most arent as brutal as tulane

Baylor doesn't really require a deposit; there's something due, I think, $500 to hold it that's due on May 15, but that's eons away, and obviously you're only paying it if you're actually planning on going there.
 
Man that is crazy about Tulane, I would tell them to shove it.

See, that's what I'm assuming (hoping) Tulane means. I interviewed and was told by a student that the deposit was due in 2 weeks, but from the website it looks like a written response to the acceptance is due in those two week, while the deposit isn't due until May 15th at the latest...

Not all! I don't think FIU's 200 dollar deposit is refundable. So I'm gonna wait a day or two for OSU's decision....

alright, its about 2 plastic surgeons in Miami. They both went to undergrad together and the same med school and everything (UMiami). They share a private practice. All the hottest women come in.

One of the doctors, Sean, is married with 2 kids. Other one, Christian, is a playboy pretty much.

Some family background: Sean's wife Julia actually had an affair with Christian before her wedding. Matt, their oldest son, is actually Christian's (they find out later in the season). Christian starts dating this crazy porn star. but when Sean finds out about his wife cheating on him, he hooks up w/ Christians gf. Later on, this adult film star hooks up with their son, Matt. Matt later on gets in a really tight relationship with a transexual and when he finds out he gets really mad and commits some crazy hate crimes against transgendered people. He later on converts to scientology with that porn star girl and they have a kid. But they break up and she goes to this pimp film maker guy but she eventually gets replaced with this younger girl.

well anyway, sean and julia break up cuz she had another affair and he has affairs. they have a son that is born with attached fingers. sean starts dating that younger adult film star. julia gets really jealous. so the girl uses mercury poison to cripple julia, but when julia finds out she get scared and shoots julia in the head. well turns out, julia didn't die. she wakes up from a coma and she turns into a lesbian.

some of the plot lines: they help a drug lord smuggle coke by putting drugs inside women's bodies. they help a crime ring steal organs and selling them on the black market. they fight a serial rapist, who turns out to be the 3rd plastic surgeon on their team, but he doesnt have any sexual organs and the detective is actually his sister that he's having a relationship with. they move to LA. they make a show about plastic surgeons. sean gets stabbed in the back and almost dies, but pretends to be cripped so he can get laid.

what else, oh christian finds out that he has terminal cancer, so he marries a lesbian anesthesiologist. he has a black baby. but when he finds out that he actually doesnt have cancer he leaves her.

but they are now in an economic recession. so they hired mario lopez, a younger plastic surgeon, to attract greater clients.

thats about half of whats been going on. its basically a dark comedy. good stuff
