Just say I'm in the area for another interview, and would you consider my file for a possible interview. Something like that.

Just say you're going to be in Miami from X date to Y date. You don't have to say why, and I doubt they care. If they're feeling generous, they'll give you the invite regardless, and if they're not, they won't regardless.

Just got an interview invite from EVMS. First news I've heard in a month. Hoping to hear from Tulane soon. :xf: And congrats to everyone with acceptances!!
 
Congrats you guys!! I was waitlisted at Wake too. But I got an acceptance call from SUNY Upstate to balance it out.

I never post on this thread (due to the extremely fast pace of the posting🙂). However, I just wanted to say CONGRATS to all the people on here with acceptances. It's been impressive to say the least:clap:👍.

Haha don't worry. I've only attended one so far. My schedule makes it hard to cram them all together so I've have to spread them out like crazy [one in Sept, one in Oct, two in Nov and one all the way in Jan :laugh:]
 
I just got a call from an unknown number and my heart skipped a beat. Turned out to be SuperShuttle confirming my ride to the airport tomorrow. Boooooo 👎

I know what you mean. It's how I felt when everyone's interview invites started pouring in. But this is just the beginning though. There's a whole lot of time left...

Obama flew in and out for my Mayo interview and I got stuck ON THE RUNWAY! (and delayed...)

He also made traffic for Downstate a mess.

I think it may be a conspiracy KSMI...

It's definitely worth a shot. Some schools, like Mount Sinai, are actually pretty receptive to those emails. I don't know about Miami, but it can't hurt.

I understand that it takes a while to process all applications, but if I am eligible for interviewing at UC, it would be great if I can schedule it around my Ohio trip so I can save some money on airfare.

I emailed them on a Friday, and I got an invite on the following Monday, for an interview on 11/20. Who knows, that letter could've been the difference!

Newest plan for healthcare reform: prevent pre-meds from interviewing... not sure how that helps the reform, but it must be it!

i'm not presenting until wednesday this year, which is kind of annoying. i got spoiled with saturday last year.

but yes. i really want to know who else is going. there have to be a few of us, right? i also bumped another thread from last year, but it's pretty dull
