to keep myself busy and my mind off med schools, i finished my set-up!

ikea too? my whole room is that black-brown. got the bed and headboard to match. ikea is so much fun.

malm 4 drawer for $99. i got the coffee tables, end tables, bookshelf, table, chair + ottoman to match in black-brown

i need the malm bed frame and a couch and desk chair to match tho
 
i go to ikea (pretty fun + good looking women)

and then craigslist it.

as rhymefest says "some women shop at the mall, some shop at the thrift store, some mix and match to make it look like they get more"

Up to my eyeballs in the midst of a test block from hell (8 in 10 days, halfway done), but I had to stop by with a little :luck: for you all and to let you know I'm praying for you and remember sitting in your shoes just one short year ago. How quickly things can change!

No news here today.

The good news is that none of the places I interviewed at are giving out acceptances yet.

C'mon schools! I know you have decisions for me, just tell me already!
 
man . . . i am surprised more acceptances haven't found all you guys yet. i suppose they are waiting and torturing you!

i guess the silver lining of my late interviews means i don't have to go through this Oct 15 waiting thing. I imagine it must suck pretty hardcore. I think I nearly had a stroke the day i was waiting for my MCAT score to come out, and that was just my MCAT score!!

Got interview invite at Rush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😀 Now I have 3 coming up!! That's 3 invites in 3 weeks, one per week. Hope it continues for a couple more weeks!

Don't let anybody there try to convince you this is unusual weather in the mid Atlantic region. It is not unusual at all for the first taste of winter to hit in mid October, and for winter to start in earnest in November, lasting until April...

Was ksmi born and raised in LA? Then maybe it was a poor decision for her. lol. however I also have a skirt suit and I am more than ready to rock out the skirt suit in Chicago and Milwaukee (in nov and dec.) don't worry- the feeling comes back into your legs eventually.

i wonder if people from the Northeast are sweating balls when they go to Tulane for interviews in September.

Thanks! They really are. I am rather amazed. I was hoping for 1-2 interviews tops. So this is all just icing on the cupcake 😛
