aw don't worry elijah, im sure you'll get into a UC then you can forget all about creighton! im feeling the same way though-my first 2 decisions have been a waitlist at wake and a waitlist or rejection at temple (waiting for the snail mail that tells me which one). i thought both the interviews went pretty well too so who knows. i have no doubt we'll both get in somewhere eventually, but it is frusturating.

My first faculty interview didn't go very well at all, and my student interview was okay, but not bad in any way. Faculty guy kinda grilled me about random things I didn't really have good answers to. He also didn't like a lot of the answers I did have. Oh wells.

Thanks. I'm just glad I have the LSU acceptance to make it easier. I don't think I would have gone there over LSU anyway. Didn't like it enough to warrant the $$$$.

Like you said, you and Elijah will get in somewhere soon.

I don't think my predictions are working out today. Wrong call on OSU, and the day is pretty slow on the acceptance front (it seems/for now).

So I guess I am supposed to hear from a school by Monday. I don't know if that includes today or what. We'll see what happens.

im excited for news from uci..my faculty inteview i know went amazing but my student was kinda meh...it didnt go bad but it didnt go as well as my faculty thats for sure..the student one was way to conversational though, more so then most of my other interviews so idk i guess.

Ohio State rejection. 👎 I guess I overshot my prediction there.

Since it's only my first one of the season, I'm okay with it - I just wish I wouldn't have wasted my time/money and had a crappy 2 days in Columbus.

Thanks man, med schools are a crapshoot really. You'll probably end up getting accepted by a better school anyway. Kinda like how OSU has already accepted me but my own alma mater hasn't even given me an interview yet....

A lot of schools will tell you, just call them for reviews. Bamtuba found out what went wrong with his Wake interview, for example.

so the people that interviewed and got decisions back-

did you guys find that you could predict your admission result at the school that you heard from? if so, was the interview the best predictor or do you think it still came down to stats/paper app
 
damn i forgot to pay one of the secondary fees of the school that i got an interview from and my interview date went from early november to late january
 
Do you think with acceptances going out now and possibly lots of monster applicants canceling interviews at other schools, we will see an increase in invites for the "average" (matriculating students) : 30-35 MCAT/3.5-3.9 GPAs ?

God, I hope so.

that would be nice! although i think its funny that someone with a 3.9/35 is in your range for an average applicant haha...those seem like pretty awesome stats t me!

It is not in my range of the average applicant. That's why I put average matriculating student 😛 ... I think that is a 32/3.7 ... but whatever!

Obviously. I just broadened the range of 32 and 3.7 to 30-35 and 3.5-3.9 (again..for applicantss who are accepted/matriculate). Hopefully people are canceling because I haven't been hearing too much

i would say no; both the decisions i got yesterday were complete surprises 😳

at my state school (UF), they told us they basically put everyone on hold at the beginning and hand out very few acceptances straight off. this fact, combined with the fact that my second interviewer was a psychiatrist who had me in tears by the end of my interview over how ridiculously supportive my mom is, convinced me that i would not be one of the first to grab an acceptance. lol. but i'm in!

and for case - my interviewer was the dean of admissions. she told me that i interviewed well and should expect to have my choices at the end of this whole process. now i'm on hold! 😛
