Hey, have you ever heard of NaNoWriMo? It popped up on my google homepage.
 
yeah, two of my friends did that...two years ago? anyway, one of them we really didn't see all month.
 
i dont understand what MLB did here.

why not make the yanks/laa play at 7 and make the phils at la play at 10

or at least ny game at 4 and la game at 7 so people could actually go to this game

stadium looks dead
 
that Gatorade "beat" commercial is sooooo epic.
 
you should make some...

some DI water...
some dextrose...
maybe some electrolytes... so add salt
and you can add any blue staining/dye solution you have in the lab. gatorade. is it in you?
 
coomassie blue (which is not sensitive enough), toluidine blue, trypan blue, evan's blue, methyl blue, alcian-safranin (light blue), giemsa (egh not really blue)

so many ways you can go here

not a fan, i find it to be purely marketing. tiger is great though

i like the fruit punch/blue/lemonade flavor of gatorade, but id rather go with vitamin water, less sugar

vitamin water makes for a great mixer with top shelf vodka

Yup, I always said I'd participate one year while I was in highschool.... it never happened. lol Though I do know someone who completed the challenge.
 
Thanks for all the congrats guys! I'd multiquote you all but I'm currently on an Amtrak headed to neuroscience in Chicago. Spurs was speaking for me (although I probably wouldn't have posted yet since it's awpa and not full acceptance (but most everyone from the awpa gets in). Congrats to everyone else who got acceptances this week!

😳 My bad. I just saw Depakote post in the mod forum, and assumed he knew what was up.

so yesterday (one of the best days ever) i got a call from dean Neumeyer at Tufts telling me i got in, and got an email today with some more info for admitted students. i'm ridiculously happy because i loved the school. i want to start withdrawing from a few schools and canceling a few interviews, but i keep having these neurotic pre-med delusions that tufts will call me and say "sorry we made a mistake" and i'll cancel interviews i shouldn't have cancelled yet (believe me, i know i'm neurotic). are any of you holding off on withdrawing from other schools until the official notice comes in through the mail?

haha brooklyn. but i do know right where my trypan blue is, i used some earlier. and the coomassie blue is all the way downstairs. anything else, though, and i'd have to go on a hunt to find (btw first full week and i had no coworker = would have been entertaining to watch me looking for things. like today when i needed one more reagent resevoir, and then could only find 6 and 24 well plates when i really needed a 96 well)

me too dude! UCI is my last hope if no good news there im waiting for an acceptance till at least december if not longer. 🙂. I predict me u and jackson getting accepted nxt week 😛

the phils are choking it away brooklyn 🙁
