Elmo, bb and others, I know this isn't actually going to make you feel any better at all and you want this to be over with, but do try and remember that this is just the second day of acceptances going out. There's a lot of time still to go. Before it's all said and done, I'm sure you will all have an acceptance 🙂
 
nah im pretty good. i just like the attention from acting depressed.

what do you think of NBA broadband. its all the NBA games on your computer for $134 for the season. or do you think i should just upgrade my cable

yes, but the waiting might seriously kill me! like aneurysm or something.

it's like when you have those dreams where you are running away from something, but you cant reach where you're trying to go...that's how i feel about that acceptance right now. not sure if that makes any sense!

upgrading cable would be liek 40 bucks? Thats all it was for me to watch near all nfl games!

haha sdguy, drexel is mad slow. no worries. they havent given me secondary yet and i contacted them!

you'll end up here though. its tough, philly is very much invested in this baseball team. if you do hear from them soon, i say you should come visit for our parade. its pretty wild

thats one of the things i like most about philly...sports-crazed city that boos santa claus...i want to live there for med school! i need it.

Eh... I think it makes the most sense if you're out-of market for your favorite team (like me). I feel like they have NBA on just about every night of the week these days (Wed-Fri always, Sunday in the second half of the season, more if you have NBATV), and they usually do a pretty good job of putting on the biggest games. I know I wouldn't even have time to watch all of my Spurs games, but if you're not in med school, depends how much you need to see and how much time you'd have.
 
well thats the thing, i kinda just like to catch like the last 5 min of fourth quarter (which is of course always dragged out w/ free throws and time outs)

Yeah, if the choice is LP, 30-40/mo, or no NBA except like Sundays, then yeah I'd go ahead and get myself an early Christmas gift. I couldn't go the whole season just following on ESPN.com
 
My CC just got denied (when I have a big credit limit and rarely use my card...WTF) when I tried to pay for an oil change and after going through the damn phone menu 3 times I keep getting told to call back later since the lines are extremely busy.

So annoyed right now.

word, we can do sake bombs at korea town and sing some motivational songs at BYOB karaoke bars. something like R Kelly - I believe I can fly or I'm the greatest

when people start singing for real (cuz some douchebags always do), we can go to this bar in the hood where people just walk around with guns and stuff its a good time

hahaha, gotta love philly. if i get in and head back to philly for a second look or something, im gonna hold you to this. we are doing everything you just wrote down.
 
a glass of japanese beer like sapporo? plus a shot or a crucible (bad book) thing of sake. you put chop sticks across your pint glass, put the shot glass on top of the chop sticks, and you bang the table shouting sake bomb a few times til the shot glass drops and you chug it

unlike a car bomb, theres no real reaction between the beer and the liquor, its just the methodology/protocol serves as a form of attraction. in a car bomb the baileys milk and the guiness reacts and creates a smooth chocolate milk taste (if you drink before the milk curdles)

I bought it at a liquor store in Houston, but I don't really know much about how they sell New Belgium beers, since they don't have them in Louisiana. I would think you could find it at a supermarket, though.

I found St Arnold's to be a good Houston microbrew while I was there.

I am in North Georgia for the weekend where it is 45 degrees. Yes, 45 degrees in Georgia, where 45 degrees is sometimes as cold as it gets during the winter, and just a week or two ago, we had a few days in the 80's. What in the world is going on with our weather!

alright all you whiny-pantses. remember some of us haven't even started interviewing yet!

of course i am not really complaining. as my premed advisor told me, having 3 interviews before the end of the year is a very good thing. so i am trying to keep it in perspective . . . and be happy, especially when i remember the fact that many people dont even have interviews yet! (of course their time will come too, when you guys who get accepted start withdrawing your other apps) 👍👍

i cant judge too harshly though, i know if i'd had any interviews already i'd probably be crapping a brick right about now too🙂
