1) Who even won DPOY last year?
2) Exactly how good are you expecting Chris Andersen to be? Dude has 2 skills, rebounding and blocking shots, and he already averaged 6 rebounds and 2.5 blocks last year. I like Anthony Randolph.
3) Assuming Manu goes back to the bench and stays healthy, 6th man is his to lose.
4) I don't have the Celtics even in the conference finals. I like Orlando.

1. Dwight

dwight is great, but he still has to improve his positioning. i think he counts on his athleticism which is top notch but gets beat in the paint sometimes

2.

the birdman is not that bad. 2.5 blocks is a lot. if he gets that up to > 3, he would be an icon to thugged out white kids

3.

i cant see manu being well, but yea i guess it would be his to lose

4.

celts are old but vince carter is really good for nothing 🙂
 
since i don't really follow sports these days it's so hard to jump into this thread when the sports talk is on full-blast

you could be: a tall investment banker, a tall doctor, a tall lawyer, a tall social worker, a tall engineer, a tall telemarketer, a tall business owner, a tall tv producer... the possibilities are endless!
 
nah, you never see seven feet tall ibankers doctors lawyers or anything of the other. you just see slightly taller bball players that are 7' tall

oh and i just remembered the one good thing to come out of my day at nymc. i talked with my tour guide about the 7 ways a dude can reach 1st base without getting a hit. 3 2 1 go:

1. Oh yeah. Yeah, I thought that was silly. But voters know only 2 things, blocks and steals.
2. I didn't say Birdman was bad, and I know that 2.5 blocks is a lot, especially for a guy playing 20 minutes a night. I'm just saying, if you want him to be most improved, how much better than that is he gonna get? I like Anthony Randolph, who might pull a Jermaine O'Neal this year and go from benchwarmer to stud.
3. Bleh. We'll see.
4. When Vince is dialed in, he's actually fine, and as a 3rd-4th option behind Dwight, Lewis and Nelson, he's great. And their most important offseason acquisition is a Dwight Howard with post moves.

pinch run makes no sense. but Balk definitely has to be one
 
batter doesn't reach on a balk. runners advance, though.
